Welcome to Fife and Drum Inn A Historic Williamsburg VA Boutique Hotel The most conveniently located, bed and breakfast in downtown Williamsburg VA. Fife and Drum Inn is located between the Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area and the College of William and Mary. From the Inn’s front door, the College Admissions Office is just a two-block walk west, and the colonial Governor’s Palace is a two-block walk east. Our B & B is located on the north side of Merchants’ Square, a two-block area that contains some of the best restaurants in Virginia and more than thirty specialty retail shops.

This cozy unit is located within the first of three condo buildings at the base of Bryce Resort’s ski slopes and mountain bike trails.  The convenience of this property simply can’t be beat: a 50-yard walk to the main ski/bike lift, a 75-yard walk to the ski/bike shop, and a 100-yard walk to the Resort’s main lodge, restaurant & bar.  The golf course pro shop is a 0.4 mile walk or short drive.  Kids and adults alike also love its easy access to the Aspen East pool (open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, 7am-10pm) adjacent to the building.    FEATURES & AMENITIES:Aspen East #136 is a one bedroom, one bathroom, third (top) floor unit with 32 steps up from parking lot level.  Its balcony provides a great view of the Bryce Resort golf course and Great North Mountain.  This unit’s vaulted ceilings and five windows highlight the great views and fill the condo with light.  The reward is worth the steps!  This unit has a galley-style kitchen and dining is convenient either at the eat-at kitchen bar or a small seating area adjacent to the living room and kitchen. The living room features a substantial stone fireplace, rustic furnishings (including a sleeper sofa), a flat screen TV, and an elevated view of the beginner ski slope.  The bedroom includes two queen beds and a flat screen TV.  The bathroom features separate powder and shower/commode rooms.  The condo comfortably accommodates four.  Please review the listing photos carefully.  This condo is clean and well maintained, but rustic.  It’s an affordable, comfortable retreat for a wide range of guests.   The kitchen includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind).  The condo is also supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper, two dishwasher tabs, three kitchen trash bags, one bath trash bag, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad.  We encourage guests with larger groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.    Firewood is provided from late fall through early spring in a ground floor outdoor shed on the left side of the condo building.  The flat screen TVs include basic cable, and high-speed 50mbps WiFi internet is sufficient for working, streaming, and limited gaming.  There’s a DVD player for movie night and a wide selection of DVDs (free to borrow during your stay) at our Check-in Office.  OTHER NOTABLES:Pets are permitted for a $100 fee per pet, per stay (maximum two). Villa #364 is a traditional mountain chalet in a quiet area that overlooks Bryce Mountain.  Leaf cover in the summertime may somewhat obscure the view, but wintertime views are wonderful.  The great room’s huge windows, doors and deck keep you close to nature and gazing outside.  Please note that access to this mountainside chalet includes 14 steps down to entry level from the parking area. This comfortable condo is located within the first of two mountainside condo buildings overlooking the Bryce Resort golf course (winter views are best, although leaf cover creates a private, secluded experience).  Located on a quiet 2 acre parcel at the end of a mountain road, this unit is only 1.4 miles to Bryce Resort’s main lodge, golf course, ski/bike lifts, and restaurant & bar.  The condo is also 1.4 miles away from the Basye Community Store.  FEATURES & AMENITIES: Senedo Condo #1-101 is a two bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, bottom floor unit that's accessible by 16 steps down from parking lot level.  Its large covered balcony feels like a tree house, even though it's on the bottom floor.  The outside common area offers picnic tables and charcoal grills. This unit has a galley-style kitchen and convenient dining either at the eat-at kitchen bar or a dining area adjacent to the living room and kitchen. A washer/dryer is also located in the kitchen.  The living room features a wood-burning fireplace, rustic furnishings (including a sleeper sofa), a flat screen TV, and a treetop-level view of the Bryce Resort golf course and Great North Mountain (winter views are best).  The main bedroom includes a queen bed, a steam sauna, an en-suite half bathroom, and a flat screen TV.  The second bedroom has a queen bed and easy access the main full bathroom. Neighborhood Overview IMPORTANT: This home is strictly for quiet groups, not suitable for family loud family gatherings or group celebrations; families with very active children must not book since our walls are thin and are neighbors are very sensitive to noise. CountrySide in Sterling VA is a quiet, tree-lined and family-oriented community. A sampling of the exceptional amenities here include 3 pools, 5 tennis courts, 10 tot lots, 2 basketball courts, a catch and release pond, and nearly 10 miles of walking trails. Our very favorite thing, though, is also its best kept secret - HorsePen Run Wetland Nature Preserve. This 370 acres of protected land is for CountrySide residents’ and guests` enjoyment. Located roughly behind some of the nearby schools, the preserve is a true nature sanctuary, with 12 different trails of varying lengths.  Outside of CountrySide, you`ll find all the amenities and attractions necessary for a great trip, like grocery stores, movie theaters, shopping, and dining. And of course, DC is just minutes away. House Rules: Check-in time: 4:00 PM  Check-out time: 10:00 AM  All guests must sign our rental agreement as mandated by Virginia Law. This property is dog-friendly with an additional $250 fee per pet. Please let us know if you will be bringing your dog. It belongs to an individual, just like you. Please treat this home with the respect and courtesy it deserves and leave it in the same excellent condition as you found it.  We welcome quiet couples and families in all of our rentals. Please note that no parties of any size, events, or conferences are permitted in this property. If we discover that guests have violated this rule, we reserve the right to immediately evict all persons on the property and/or assess a fine.  If the property is left exceptionally dirty, such as perishable foods left in the kitchen, dirty dishes in the sink, furniture rearranged, or trash not taken out, we may assess an additional fee of up to  $500. Late Checkout: Please note that check-out time is promptly at 10am. This is so that our housekeeping staff may prepare the property for the next guest. If you need additional time, contact us immediately and we’ll try to accommodate you, though this cannot be guaranteed.  If you fail to check out by 10am, you will be charged half of the nightly rate for the property. Failure to vacate the property at the agreed-upon check-out time is considered trespassing.  Same-Day Bookings: Same-day bookings with no past Airbnb reviews are subject to additional scrutiny and require approval from the company. We will ask you to provide information on your group and the purpose of your stay.  If your stay is approved, we require a government-issued ID for identity verification. Your phone number must match the phone number on your Airbnb account or we will not be able to honor your reservation.  Same-day reservations will not be accepted after 2:00pm.  All same-day reservations require at least 3 hours before check-in.  We may have to extend check-in time to later than 4:00pm.    Internet/Cable: The company is not responsible for outages by Internet and Cable companies. While we regret the interruption and inconvenience, we have no control over internet or cable issues.  The same way these providers do not reimburse us for their equipment failures or outages, we cannot accept accountability or offer refunds or reimbursements to guests.  Copyright Infringement: Absolutely no illegal downloads. We will charge $50 if discovered. Pool: If the property has a private pool, please understand that we service all of our pools weekly. Due to our tropical surroundings and lush vegetation, it is not unexpected that debris will all into the pool. Though it may give the appearance otherwise, the pool is still clean.  Our technicians maintain the pools with the correct balance of chemicals on a weekly basis. We are unable to send them out to properties to sweep up daily debris. Pool skimmers are available at each property for guests’ convenience.  If your private pool is exceptionally dirty or you find items other than vegetation in it, please contact us and we will remediate the situation.  If you are in a property with a shared pool, such as a condominium, please be advised that most condominium communities have their own pool cleaning schedules that we have no influence over. If you experience a problem other than normal daily debris, please let us know and we will make inquiries on your behalf.  Privacy: This property is equipped with security cameras on the outside of the property. These cameras are using during the check-in process to verify identity and guest count. If there is an incident, we will review the footage. There are no cameras inside any property.  Starter Supplies: We provide enough trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and other home items for about 3 days of use. Beyond that, it is the responsibility of the guest to replenish these items.   IMPORTANT NOTE: CountrySide is a family-oriented community that prizes courtesy and quiet. For this reason, we can only invite family groups to any of our CountrySide properties. Additionally, because of past conflicts, we have had to enact a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for any violation of the either our noise or quiet hours (9pm - 8am) policies. In order to be fair and impartial with this noise policy, we have installed NoiseAware in all of our CountrySide properties. This technology is similar to a smoke alarm, but instead detects noise over a pre-set decibel.

This comfortable condo is located within the first of two mountainside condo buildings overlooking the Bryce Resort golf course (winter views are best, although leaf cover creates a private, secluded experience).  Located on a quiet 2 acre parcel at the end of a mountain road, this unit is only 1.4 miles to Bryce Resort’s main lodge, golf course, ski/bike lifts, and restaurant & bar.  The condo is also 1.4 miles away from the Basye Community Store.  FEATURES & AMENITIES: Senedo Condo #2-302 is a three bedroom (two bedroom w/ loft bedroom), 1.5 bathroom, top floor unit that's accessible by 13 steps up from parking lot level.  Its large covered balcony feels like a tree house.  The outside common area offers picnic tables. This unit has a galley-style kitchen and convenient dining either at the eat-at kitchen bar or a dining area adjacent to the living room and kitchen. We will charge $50 if discovered. Pool: If the property has a private pool, please understand that we service all of our pools weekly. Due to our tropical surroundings and lush vegetation, it is not unexpected that debris will all into the pool. Though it may give the appearance otherwise, the pool is still clean.  Our technicians maintain the pools with the correct balance of chemicals on a weekly basis. We are unable to send them out to properties to sweep up daily debris. Pool skimmers are available at each property for guests’ convenience.  If your private pool is exceptionally dirty or you find items other than vegetation in it, please contact us and we will remediate the situation.  If you are in a property with a shared pool, such as a condominium, please be advised that most condominium communities have their own pool cleaning schedules that we have no influence over. If you experience a problem other than normal daily debris, please let us know and we will make inquiries on your behalf.  Privacy: This property is equipped with security cameras on the outside of the property. These cameras are used during the check-in process to verify identity and guest count. If there is an incident, we will review the footage. This cozy unit is located within the first of three condo buildings at the base of Bryce Resort’s ski slopes and mountain bike trails.  The convenience of this property simply can’t be beat: a 50-yard walk to the main ski/bike lift, a 75-yard walk to the ski/bike shop, and a 100-yard walk to the Resort’s main lodge, restaurant & bar.  The golf course pro shop is a 0.4 mile walk or short drive.  Kids and adults alike also love its easy access to the Aspen East pool (open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, 7am-10pm) adjacent to the building.    FEATURES & AMENITIES:Aspen East #133 is a one bedroom, one bathroom, third (top) floor unit with 32 steps up from parking lot level.  Its slope-side balcony provides a great view of the ski slopes, the Resort’s facilities, and the valley.  This unit’s vaulted ceilings and five windows highlight the great views and fill the condo with light.  The reward is worth the steps!  This unit was recently updated with new kitchen cabinets and countertops, new kitchen and bathroom flooring, and new bathroom appointments.  It has a galley-style kitchen and dining is convenient either at the eat-at kitchen bar or a small seating area adjacent to the living room and kitchen. The living room features a substantial stone fireplace, rustic furnishings (including a sleeper sofa), a flat screen TV, and an elevated view of the beginner ski slope.  The bedroom includes two queen beds and a flat screen TV.  The bathroom features separate powder and shower/commode rooms.  The condo comfortably accommodates four.  Please review the listing photos carefully.  This condo is clean and well maintained, but rustic.  It’s an affordable, comfortable retreat for a wide range of guests.   The kitchen includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind).  The condo is also supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper, two dishwasher tabs, three kitchen trash bags, one bath trash bag, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad.  We encourage guests with larger groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.    Firewood is provided from late fall through early spring in a ground floor outdoor shed on the left side of the condo building.  The flat screen TVs include basic cable, and high-speed 50mbps WiFi internet is sufficient for working, streaming, and limited gaming.  There’s a DVD player for movie night and a wide selection of DVDs (free to borrow during your stay) at our Check-in Office.  OTHER NOTABLES:Pets are permitted for a $100 fee per pet, per stay (maximum two). Our very favorite thing, though, is also its best kept secret - HorsePen Run Wetland Nature Preserve. This 370 acres of protected land is for CountrySide residents’ and guests` enjoyment.
