AT RESORT: The pool and spas are crystal clear and heated year round. They are perfect for relaxing with family and friends. Pool towels are provided at the pool by the resort. There's also an onsite free gym for those who want to get their exercise in while on vacation. One of the biggest amenities for winter travelers is the ski valet service in the lobby to easily grab your equipment and walk less than 100 yards, across the street to the gondola to hit the slopes. NEAR RESORT: When you want to be close to everything, Zalanta is the best choice for anything South Lake Tahoe. The Heavenly Gondola is directly across the street and so is the Heavenly Village with all its shops, restaurants, and activities, ensuring that you won't have to drive throughout your trip. There's so much more that it just can't all be listed and all in walking distance. See the map in pictures to have a better idea of the vicinity and location of the condo. Guest access is easy. Just visit the reception desk, give them the name you registered with, let them know that you are guests of the Hawkins Family #228, and they'll hand you your key cards. Since you are our personal guests and not guests of the resort, all the amenities available to us as owners and as part of our HOA membership are yours for your stay! We do this because we love it! The various spaces are decorated by us personally and we do our absolute best to ensure that you feel comfortable in the choice you made when booking your stay. While we cannot be there in person during your stay, in addition the the staff on location, we will be available by phone, email, text, and the app if you should need us for any reason! Zalanta is located in the heart of downtown South Lake Tahoe, directly across from the Heavenly Gondola with easy access to all that South Lake Tahoe has to offer. There is no better place to stay! The Heavenly Village with all of its shops, activities, and food stops is just across the street. If you want to go to the beach, it's only a few blocks away and a golf cart shuttle is available during summer months. This is a true ski in, ski out location as the Gondola to take you up to the Heavenly Mountain Resort is only a two minute, short walk from the front doors. If you want to catch a concert the entrance is a couple blocks north or you can even enjoy the music from the patio balcony. In the winter there's a snow sledding park just down the street and ice skating at the Heavenly Village. Just below the condo is indoor mini golf and the casinos are just a couple blocks north. If you're looking to golf, Edgewood is a short few minute drive away. The Raley's Supermarket is just a block south across the street and there's an Ace Hardware for all of your sporting and activity needs in the same center or if you're the renting type there are rental places for everything from bikes and scooters to skis and snowboards to kayak, paddle boards, pwc's, and boats, all just steps from this centrally located residence at Zalanta. There may not be another place with so much to do anywhere in the world and this condo sits right in the middle of it all. There is a free private parking lot for guests. Also, there is a golf cart shuttle to and from the beach, as well as, guest shuttle service that an be used when on a first come first served basis at the resort. Much of the activities, restaurants, and entertainment is within a short walk. There's even scooters all around town that can be used for a fee. You'll probably never need a car! CLEANING: All cleaning is in compliance with the 5 step enhanced cleaning process. The condo will be freshly cleaned and stocked for check-in. Extra cleanings during your stay are available upon request for a $299 fee, but must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. SUPPLIES: The condo will be stocked with an initial supply, but please note that while there is a generous quantity of most items, if you use it up, the only way to replenish the supply would be to have order an extra cleaning(s) for an additional fee which would be $299. This would include fresh towels, linens, soaps topped off, toilet paper, paper towels, tissue and everything else just like a new arrival. There is a grocery store just 2 blocks away, a washer and dryer in the unit with detergent, some basic cleaning supplies, and a vacuum in the condo for your convenience. SERVICES: The resort staff is happy to help you with questions and most anything you could need help with, but they are Vail Resorts staff and since you are saving money and booking directly thru us, essentially bypassing Vail Resorts high prices and fees, they are not permitted by Vail to provide bell or housekeeping services to you, our guests. (Trash pick-up is still included) FACILITIES: The resort facilities and services may, from time to time, have certain amenities temporarily out of service or under maintenance for various reasons. We will keep you informed as we are if this occurs, but cannot make special accommodation for conditions that are out of our control. RETAIL SHOPS AND MUSIC: This condo is one of the more quiet units at Zalanta and in the area because it is on the back, inside corner of the resort, far away from any elevator, at the end of a hallway, away from the road noise and village events, but it and most others at Zalanta sit above various retail establishments. While it is not noisy, you may be able to faintly hear sound from below evenings before quiet hours and is usually only noticeable on busy holiday weekends. Quiet hours are from 10PM to 9AM and you can expect there to be no music or sound during these hours. They are start winding down at 9PM each night. This is typical throughout the Heavenly Village and Downtown South Lake Tahoe area and is rarely an issue, but should be noted.
