There is a trail within the small strip of wooded area at the end of the street. There is a concrete drainage that goes down the hill and connects to the sidewalk that runs along hwy 306. It is fairly steep so be sure and wear water shoes and be careful! Once you go down the steep concrete drain and reach the sidewalk, you will take a right. Continue to follow the path all the way along the highway and it will end at the other bridge crossing the river where you will find the public river access. OR 2) Floaters that prefer to rent tubes can drive or walk to the outfitters located on each side of the house. (The bridge at Whitewater can be walked across to get to the outfitter). They will then direct you to their parking with rented tubes and an entrance to the horseshoe.
