Palms Canyon sits on 5 acres of land in the Desert Heights area with 360 degree views of the mountains in the beautiful desert. Enjoy the sunrise while drinking your coffee from the covered patio. In the evening, enjoy dinner in the covered patio with a view, cool off in the cowboy pool, have a drink while soaking in the hot tub, play horseshoes or bocce ball near the firepit and end your night stargazing from the hammocks! *NOTE: Cowboy pool may be closed October to March due to weather. Come experience the desert for what it is, with all the comforts of a modern home. Palms Canyon is a two bed, two bath with an open concept kitchen/living room. This house is great for a group of friends, a family or two couples. Please no parties :) We allow 2 dogs with a small pet fee of $50 per dog. We ask dogs not be left unattended in the house at any time unless crated. All dogs must be potty trained to go outside (no pee pads please) and please clean up after them. All dogs must be leashed when outside the house. The first $50 pet fee is included in your rate as long as you include the dog(s) in your reservation. If you are bringing a 2nd dog, the additional $50 will be charged separately. To show our gratitude we provide coffee and tea for guests! We have the fastest WiFi the desert offers but please note - it is satellite so it tends to still be quite slow, regardless! So if you are coming to stay and work we always suggest bringing a hot spot to be safe. Full access Self check-in with a door lock code. Owners will be available by app 7am to 7pm. Owners will be available for emergencies 24/7 by phone. Desert Heights is a quiet little neighborhood with great views of all the mountains. The houses are few and far between giving it a feel of solitude. The nearest store is about 10 minutes away. Come enjoy the high desert in all its beauty. Please note that our road is a dirt road but any car can handle it :) The roads are dirt, but 4x4 isnt necessary. We have security cameras on the exterior of our house facing the parking areas and the front yard, it does not monitor inside the home. Wifi is satellite ! We have the fastest speed the hi dez offers. If you're coming and working we recommend bringing a hot spot because we cannot guarantee the speed. It is spotty towards the end of the month. While we utilize poison-free methods to manage pests, it's essential to note that as we are situated in the desert, occasional insects and critters may make their way indoors or be spotted on the property. Please keep doors and windows closed whenever possible to help keep them out. Please be mindful of wildlife including snakes and rodents, as well as bigger wildlife that may be passing through. The property is not fenced so you may get a visitor or two. Please do not try to interact with the wildlife, just let them go on their way. ** Please Note ** Please note that a signed renter agreement is required upon booking confirmation. There is minor construction happening on another unit located on the property. The majority of the work is happening indoors M-F 9am-4pm, there may be one or two workers present at the other unit during the day on occasion. This secluded 5-acre property is being shared by two units, this one and a 1-bedroom studio, however the studio will not be complete until mid to late April.
