Popular attractions such as the Pt. Reyes National Seashore, Muir Woods, and the Sonoma County Wine Country are all within a 45 minute drive. The cottage is nestled in a pastoral setting but is just 5 minutes from downtown Petaluma. Founded in 1848, Petaluma is known for its deep agricultural roots. Today, Petaluma continues as a thriving center of the sustainable agriculture movement and farm to table awareness. Enjoy the artisan food movement at some of the finest restaurants in the Bay Area. The cottage is outfitted with a comfortable sitting room, a dining room with a large farm table that seats eight, a fully functional kitchen with a Thermador Range, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master has a king-sized bed and en suite bath. There are two additional smaller bedrooms, one with twin beds, the second with a king or twin set up depending on guest preference. French doors off the master bedroom and dining room open to a small, fenced garden with a deck, and outdoor table. Washer/dryer, cable TV and wireless internet access round out the amenities. Note: The guest cottage is on a working ranch. Guests may hear coyotes at night and will wake to the sound of roosters crowing.
