Bob’s dream was to live on the water in Florida. He spoke of it often. When Bonnie passed away, we told Bob he should pursue his dream of living on the water in Florida. Instead, Bob stayed in his home in Colorado and continued his day-to-day routine. Eventually Bob’s health deteriorated and he also passed away. Because they had no family, there wasn’t anyone to whom we could pass along his few things. Bob did have a collection of fishing poles that were special to him; he had customized these poles using a thread weave process and he loved talking about them. We knew we had to keep them but we didn’t know what we would ever do with them. It wasn’t until we purchased this home in Florida that we knew exactly where those poles needed to be.
