The house is on the north side of Ellison Bay, close to many activities, and a good home base for exploring all the county has to offer. This home was built by the current owner's father, who was a skilled carpenter. He handcrafted the kitchen cabinets from cherrywood and made the stained glass windows in the three season porch. He remodeled and maintained it with love. There are many small touches in the home that reflect the family's Door County history, such as the kitchen table that belonged to the owner's grandparents where many family memories were made. You will also find art from local artists, and touches of the Clearing throughout the house. **This property is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Provided: Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. We provide a starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. We also supply one each of travel size shampoo, conditioner and bodywash per full bathroom. Due to health and safety guidelines all pantry items must be removed between guests. Please bring cooking essentials you might need such as cooking oil/spray, salt, pepper and other spices, sugar, etc.
