Please note this cottage shares private lake access with four other cottages. There is plenty of shoreline to enjoy. *This property is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, or other rowdy gatherings. Please bring your own beach towels. • We provide a starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. • We supply one each of travel size shampoo, conditioner and bodywash per full bathroom. • Due to health and safety guidelines made by the health department, all pantry items must be removed between guests. Please bring cooking essentials you might need such as cooking oil/spray, salt, pepper and other spices, sugar, etc. Surrounding Area: The Little White Cottage is in quaint Jacksonport, home to Maifest and January's Polar Plunge. Dinner, ice cream and live music can be enjoyed during summer at local restaurants. Jacksonport also has its own grocery store, bakery, gift shop and a weekly farmer's market, to name a few of its attractions. The town is a short drive to wineries, breweries, golf, and other outdoor recreation like kayaking and hiking. Some of our favorite restaurants are Valmy Happy Hour, Mike's Port Pub, Island Fever and Donny’s Glidden Lodge. We recommend exploring and experiencing the following Cave Point, Cana Island Lighthouse, Peninsula State Park, Washington Island Ferry and Door County Trolley Tours.
