Heceta Lighthouse B&B occupies the historic Lightkeepers' duplex at Heceta Head Lighthouse. The Queen Anne style home sits on an ocean bluff near the lighthouse tower with trails to the creek and beach below, lighthouse tower above, and through surrounding forests. All 6 uniquely decorated rooms are adorn with time period antiques, elegant linens, down comforters, lush robes, and a flashlight to journey to the lighthouse after dark, as the lightkeepers did a century ago. Guests are welcomed with Wine and Cheese featuring artisanal Oregon cheese and Pacific Northwest wines. A gourmet 7 Course Breakfast is served each morning with ingredients from the Culinary Garden, local farms, and nearby specialty purveyors. There's something new every day! Guests share 2 parlors with fire places and ocean views, full size guest kitchen, large dining room with piano, and wrap around porch with dramatic scenery and wildlife displays. Knowledgeable team members are available at all times for assistance and to share the history (and their love) of Heceta Head. Heceta Lighthouse B&B also hosts special events like weddings and family reunions in the Keepers' Home or on the 1 acre West Lawn. Full service catering and event planning are available.
MIchelle Korgan is the owner of Heceta Lighthouse B&B, and the daughter of the original owners, Mike and Carol Korgan. Michelle and Carol created "The Lighthouse Breakfast Cookbook" to feature the 7 Course Breakfast and the personal stories behind each recipe. Michelle has been a steward of the land and historic structures at Heceta Head for more than 20 years.
