The vintage elevator will take you up to where the studio apartment awaits, ready for you to kick back and get cozy. You’ll find a sofa and a Roku TV, the perfect place to unwind after a long day. A comfortable queen size murphy bed can stay tucked away till you’re ready to sleep. This apartment also features a compact vintage kitchen suitable for cooking up a tasty meal to be enjoyed in the dining area. The kitchen has a microwave, oven/stove, fridge/freezer, and coffee maker and is equipped with other standard kitchen items and dinnerware. The updated bathroom features a shower/tub combo with an adjustable shower head. A large closet and storage space can be used to unpack and tuck away your suitcases. Guests have full private access to the studio apartment and access to the shared condo amenities including a laundry room and lobby/lounge. Access to the unit is first obtained using the callbox to enter the building. An e-lock is on the unit door and keys for guests are provided for the duration of the stay. Guests will need to complete paperwork including a rental agreement and tenant information form to satisfy HOA requirements. Upon booking, please provide your email address so that we can send you the appropriate forms. Before arrival, guests are required to sign and complete a rental agreement. This document will be sent for your signature through Docusign or exchanged via email. We also request the our house rules are read before confirming reservation. Bonus! Free laundry is included in the building. Please refrain from having mail sent here. Packages can be delivered to the building and there is a locked package drop box in the lobby, however Descansa is not responsible for lost packages and is unable to assist with locating them. Important: A Google Home device is installed in the unit. Please note that you have the option to disable it by pressing the microphone button. When disabled, the button will illuminate red. Parking is not included in this stay. There is metered parking nearby as well as many parking garages if you’re interested in renting for an extended period of time. You can find the max train nearby to take you further into downtown, or to the other side of the river where many popular neighborhoods exist. The Portland Streetcar is also within walking distance which loops through downtown, Portland State, the Pearl District, NW, and close-in to the eastside of Portland. You can’t ask for a more central location! Many coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and shopping options are nearby. As with most major cities, there’s a decent sized population of individuals experiencing homelessness in Portland. The HOA and tenants are very vigilant in preventing loitering or encampments near the property, but there will be homeless individuals in the general area and throughout Portland.
