"Bayou Oaks Too" is located on Bastrop Bayou, in a small island community called "Demi-John Island". It is within walking distance to Captain Mark's Marina, a full service marina offering fuel, ice, drinks, snacks and a boat ramp. Nearby you will find an RV Park with laundry mat. Take a fishing trip one of many local guides right at the cabin and save the travel time! OR, hire a boat to take the family for a ride down Bastrop Bayou to see nature at it's VERY best. Bird Watchers will be amazed at the opportunities to photograph everything from Egrets, Roseate Spoonbills, Seagulls, Hawks, and Gather around a the picnic table, enjoy a camp fire each evening where you will find yourself roasting marshmallows & hotdogs, singing along to a guitar or listening to music, sharing stories while creating new memories. If your entire group isn't interested in fishing 24/7 those folks can take a short 8 minute drive to Surfside Beach to spend a day of fun in the sun. At the end of the day escape the beach madness and head back to this peaceful get-a-way.
