Why stay in a hotel or lodging when you can stay in a historic bed and breakfast. Walk in the door and then back in time at the Historic Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed and Breakfast. Our buildings include a historic one-room school, an original New Braunfels German rock home and a private cottage. Everyone can come, stay and relax. Guests say we have the "Best Breakfast in Texas!"
The Innkeepers and Owners of Historic Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed and Breakfast are Margaret Kuebler Waldrip and son, Darrell Waldrip. Margaret Waldrip is a retired Spanish teacher, and she was inspired in the early 1980's to have a bed and breakfast after she had stayed in a bed and breakfast in Mexico City by the name of Casa Gonzalez. Margaret Waldrip has returned many times during her many trips to Mexico. Darrell is one of the three children that grew up here, and he has helped with some of the buildings here. He has helped run the B&B since 1991.
Margy Waldrip and Darrell Waldrip live on the property with their four cats (Buddy, Missy, Mittens and Tigger). The "working cats" are the grounds keepers. The Kuebler Waldrip Haus B&B cats advertise by word of "Meow-th".
