Spend your Folly vacation in this colorful and comfortable oasis only 1 block from all the fun on Center Street and just 2 blocks to the beach and the famous Folly Pier. Not to mention, you will also have the convenience of Bert's Market just a half block from the front door. You cannot find a better location for all things Folly! This is the lower level, front apartment, in a three unit property. Unit B has one (1) parking space right in front of the house. 2 Bedrooms with brand new King and Queen beds. Personal flatscreen TVs in both bedrooms with the Roku platform & enjoy complimentary cable stations through the Xfinity app. One full bathroom with shower and tub. Dining area with comfortable high top chairs, near large windows, providing a scenic view of the island. Full Kitchen with all your cooking needs. You will also enjoy the added bonus of hearing the soothing sounds of the ocean during high tide. Outdoors we provide a charcoal grill and outdoor seating in your unit’s designated area. This space however is not fenced in. There is often community charcoal left on the property for everyone’s use, but no there are not guarantees during your stay. But luckily, charcoal and any other essentials can be purchased just down the block at Berts Market. They are open 24/7. We also provide four beach towels, two beach chairs and a large beach mat for your convenience during your stay. Pet Policy: - We are DOG friendly, allowing one (1) dog per reservation, and they MUST be at least 2 YEARS of age. Please disclose you are bringing he or she and send their details before booking. If approved, then a pet fee of $50 for housekeeping will be collected separately after booking is complete. Keep in mind that dogs are not allowed on the beach itself during the peak seasons. * May 1st - Sept. 30th, during the hours of 10 am to 6 pm * - If your pup may not be comfortable being left alone in a new place and has the potential to bark a lot, then it could be best they stay home during your trip. Spend your Folly vacation in this huge apartment that feels like a home, only 1 block from Center Street and just 2 blocks to the beach and the Folly Pier. You also have the convenience of Bert's Market 24/7 around the corner from the front door. You cannot find a better location for all things Folly. Remote learning in your family? We have high speed internet and ideal workspaces for the kids. “Pirates Perch” (Unit A) is a 3 bed 2 full bath, second floor unit on a 3 unit property. It spans the entire top floor of this property. The other two units are below this one, so we have to ask guests consider that before booking. We ask that noise levels and activity be controlled inside after 9PM weekdays and 10PM weekends. We want all of our guests to be happy and have a relaxing and enjoyable vacation! :) Everyone also has their own fenced in outdoor spaces with seating, tiki torches and a charcoal grill. Details about the house: You'll walk up a flight of outdoor steps to the front door, entering the large sun porch with seating, tables and a hammock. Then into the open living area with a 60" flatscreen TV, new comfy couches and a large swivel chair. For sleeping there are 2 King beds, 2 Twin beds and an air mattress available for use. Starting at the front of the house, Bedroom 1 is very large room with a King bed, dresser and mounted flatscreen TV. Bedroom 2 is the smaller room with two twin beds, dresser and flatscreen TV. Bedrooms 1 & 2 share a full detached bathroom in the main hallway. Bedroom 3 is a Private Master Suite at the back of house, with a King bed, dresser, mounted TV and BRAND NEW private custom tiled bathroom. The bathroom features a fantastic double shower for two and luxurious center mounted rain shower. It feels like you're at a private spa!! The Kitchen is nice and open with plenty of counter space, bar seating, new dishwasher and contains all the cookware and grilling utensils you need for your vacation. It then opens up to the attached dining area and dining table with a view of the greenery on the property. The back door leads to a small deck platform, then stairs down to the charcoal grill and seating area with a new picnic table. Unit A has two (2) parking spaces in front of the property. Two vehicles OR one vehicle and a golf cart. The others two spots are for the downstairs units. Enjoy a memorable Coastal Vacation at this gorgeous bayside property on the edge of Eastpoint, FL. This property has all the amenities of St. George Island homes (and more!) in a private, peaceful setting away from the crowds. The white sand beaches at St. George Island are still just 10 minutes over one bridge and the Historic Apalachicola with shopping and renowned seafood restaurants is just over another bridge down the road. Truly the perfect location for it all! This property is literally PARADISE! Inside and out! Property Details: This beautiful custom home has a spacious layout for families or groups of friends, and you'll take in a breathtaking view of the Apalachicola Bay from inside the home and gorgeous bay windows! The Master sweet has it's own entrance to the back yard, large walk-in shower and a view of the water from bed! A second suite on the other side of the house also comes with it's own huge private attached bathroom. The home has also has a modern kitchen with most accessories one would need to cook meals. Bedroom 1 - Queen Bedroom with Full Private Bath with walk in shower, toilet, and vanity. Only bedroom on South side of the home. The other bedrooms are located on the North side. Then enjoy tons of natural shade in the manicured backyard under the southern oak trees. You will truly feel like you're in a private paradise! HOT TUB: We just installed a brand new hot tub that comfortably fits seven people and it's right next to the pool! DOCK: We have a brand new, private dock that our guests can enjoy during their stay! However, due to safety purposes, we can't allow guests on the top deck. There is plenty of seating and amazing view on the lower deck. ** FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ** 1. Can we access the bay behind the house for fishing or swimming? Definitely for fishing!! We have just completed Phase 1 of renovating the shoreline down below near the bay with steps from the back yard and a ridge to sit closer to water, for fishing or just to enjoy the view and the GORGEOUS sunsets over the water. You're also welcome to fish from the new dock. However, for swimming, I'd personally still plan on using the pool or take a short drive to the white sand beach at St. George Island. The bridge to get to the island is just 5 minutes down the road. 2. Are there dedicated fishing spots in the area? Absolutely! There is a very nice fishing pier on both sides of the St. George Island Bridge. Both of them also have a boat ramp if you have any kind of watercraft that you’d like to bring with you. There is also a little area off to the side of the bridge over to Apalachicola. 3. Can we bring a boat, kayaks or other watercraft? Definitely! We have plenty of room in the drive and there are two boat landings just down the road for boats and you can put your kayaks or SUP boards in right from the property. 4. Is the pool heated? Unfortunately, we do not offer heat at this time during the Winter months, but you can purchase heat for $250 per week from March 1st - Oct. 1st. Just let us know if you would like that feature upon booking and we will get you setup and arrange payment. * Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions and we hope to be hosting your vacation of a lifetime very soon!! * Guests have full access to this entire property. You're host will be available by text or phone for any questions or emergencies. Maintenance is also available nearby for anything that would come up during your stay. Very quiet and safe, well established neighborhood along the bay, lined with live oak trees. Just seconds away from the bridge that takes you over to St. George Island or Apalachicola with shopping and many seafood dining options on the water. We have the pool, koi pond and hot tub to maintain and some of our service people will have to access them at some point during your stay. We try to keep it minimal while we have guests but the pool, especially, needs attention on a bi-weekly basis.
This fantastic retro 1950s cottage is close to the hip scene of the Avondale neighborhood with shops, bars and great restaurants! The famous West Ashley Greenway walking/biking trail is also just around the corner from this great house! Only a 10 minute drive to our beautiful Historic Downtown area. This unique and very clean space is setup for a stay of 29 nights or more. It has a fully stocked kitchen, very comfy living area with a large TV. Then a designated office space with a desk and two bedrooms that lead out to the huge vaulted screened in porch! The enormous backyard is canopied by our beautiful southern oak trees. Your furry family member or kids will absolutely love it! This house currently sleeps (3) three with one Queen bed and one Full size bed. All guests will share the Full bathroom with a shower and tub. Full size washer and dryer for your use on the front porch, along with more seating to soak in the morning sunshine. You will absolutely love the vibe of this house and the neighborhood! Pet policy: We can welcome one (1) DOG that is at least 3 yrs of age and fully house trained. Our favorite place to walk and ride is The West Ashley Greenway, which is just literally 5 minutes around the corner from the house. This mostly paved pathway spans 8 miles from Main Rd in West Ashley, all the way down to Folly Road. We have so much more that is a short walk or car ride down the road. Which includes but not limited to: Whole Foods, Starbucks, The Glass Onion (southern soul-food), Swig and Swine BBQ, Pearlz Oyster Bar, Highfalutin Coffee Roasters, Charles Towne Fermentory brewery, Avondale Wine & Cheese, The Roost sports bar, Mellow Mushroom pizza and Triangle Char & Bar. (Brunch, burgers, tacos and more with outdoor seating) Ride shares are very common in this area, if you don't have a vehicle. This is a very clean, beautiful Loft in a prime location on James Island! Just 5 miles to Folly Beach and 15 minutes to Downtown Charleston. Completely updated space with new flooring, a large bathroom with custom shower, a VERY COMFY KING bed. Nice kitchenette and mini fridge for light cooking and attached living area with a Roku TV. Everything you need for your home base after a day of exploring! This unique and completely private apartment on the other side of a main house, includes a private entrance with private parking in the attached driveway. When you enter this fresh retreat, you’re surrounded by soothing colors of the ocean. Brand new, quiet, mini split AC Unit with remote control for your desired temperature. Premium coffee provided, along with always fresh linens and plush bath towels. I also take pride in leaving a very pristine and clean space for my guests each and every time. TV comes with a Roku, free local news app and complimentary use of the guest Hulu account. You may also log into any of your subscriptions. I want to make sure everyone is setup with what they need after they arrive, but I do NOT have to meet you in person. You will have your own code to enter. Then I am always available for my guests by message or phone during their stay. I also leave a two page manual for you when you arrive. Page one is the WiFi details and info about the room. Page two is a list of all my local favorites spots. Downtown, at the beach and local gems! The neighborhood is a few blocks off Folly Road. Very quiet, safe, family friendly neighborhood without much traffic at all. You definitely get a way from the hustle and bustle of town in this neighborhood. Unit C has one (1) parking space in front. This is a special unit on the property with the only private covered porch and fenced in yard. All units have their designated areas on the side of the property with their own charcoal grills and seating. There is a large unit above and you will here some foot traffic and occasional voices, so please be aware of that. They are also instructed to keep the noise level down after 10PM on weekends and 9PM weeknights. This unit has been remodeled with new flooring and furnishings throughout the entire place. Two bedrooms, one full bathroom. Bedroom 1 includes a new King bed, with all new linens, bedding and a wall mounted flat screen TV. Bedroom 2 contains new QUEEN BUNK BEDS, new bedding and linens, full dresser with mirror and flat screen TV. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils and a coffee maker.
