The path to establishing B&B Coastal Properties has been an enlightening and transformative journey, marked by both challenges and triumphs. My ambition to own a vacation home materialized in 2021 with the purchase of a beautiful property in Palm Coast, Florida. Envisioning it as a Short Term Rental (STR), I aimed to share this delightful space with others while also enjoying personal getaways. Initially, I enlisted a national management company, entrusting them with the care and marketing of my property. Their promises, however, quickly fell short of expectations.​
​​The experience was fraught with disappointments – from underwhelming booking rates to subpar cleaning standards that didn't align with our high expectations. Despite promises of professional handling, the reality was a series of mismanaged situations, culminating in a profound letdown during a hurricane. This incident was particularly eye-opening, revealing a lack of sincere care and communication with guests and property owners.

This series of setbacks, however, ignited a spark within me. It became apparent that there was a significant gap in the vacation rental market – a need for a service that genuinely valued both homeowners and guests, balancing their needs with impeccable attention to detail. This realization coincided with a career transition, presenting an opportunity to reshape my professional journey.
Driven by this new vision, B&B Coastal Properties was born, founded on principles of integrity, attention to detail, and a balanced focus on both guest and homeowner experiences. Leveraging my extensive background in sales, marketing, and operations, I immersed myself in learning the intricacies of vacation home marketing, local and state regulations, and the nuances of taxation in Flagler County.
