Please inquire with us if you have questions about a specific property amenity so that we can give you the most accurate information possible for your dates** This condo within the Bear Lodge at Trappeur's Crossing Resort has an exceptional location in the heart of the Mountain Village, top quality finishes and furniture throughout, plus the best set of on site amenities and services around.  You'll have a short, flat, easy walk to gondola square, the ski school, the ticket office, as well as various shops, bars, & restaurants.  This location is exactly where you want to be, whether visiting in winter or summer!  You don't have to walk anywhere, though, since during ski season there is a free private shuttle available to whisk you to and from anywhere in town.  No other development has the set of amenities you'll find here.  There's not one pool, but 4 of them, and one is an indoor / outdoor pool.  There's not one hot tub, but 10, both indoor and out.  The condo itself has the highest quality furnishings, materials, and other finishing touches including HDTVs in every room, built in surround sound, solid hickory hardwood floors, granite & marble counters, slate & travertine tile, leather furniture, the list goes on.  If this sounds like the place for you, please keep reading for more details on the unit, the development, and the location! The Bear Lodge is a fairly new building compared to most other Steamboat Springs developments, which means that you have some features that are not present in other places.  One of those features is Air Conditioning.  Though you might not need AC much of the year, this feature can be very handy on the hottest of summer afternoons.  Another such feature is ease of access.  There are zero stairs required to access this condo, which once inside, is also laid out all on a single level, so if you're elderly or have impaired mobility, or just tired from skiing until your legs are wobbly, this is an important feature.  The entire building and much of the development was laid out with the ADA in mind.  Also, being a recent development, the layout of the unit and size of the rooms is spacious and comfortable.  When you enter, you'll find a sweeping open space that combines the living room with the dining room and kitchen.  Immediately to your right is a smart entry feature that includes a built in bench with coat racks and storage cubbies above, and room for ski boots and shoes below.  There is also a coat closet for clearing some of the clutter or for larger groups.  Upon entering, you'll find a large kitchen to your left and dining area to your right.  The dining area has a lovely chandelier that provides the perfect ambiance for a formal meal as well as for games or puzzles. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, solid granite slab counters, and beautiful cabinetry.  The kitchen is more than fully equipped.  The ample seating is arranged to allow everyone to come together while also having a nice view of the beautiful 2 sided fireplace and large HDTV.  Being open to the kitchen and dining area, the living room is a great space for you to enjoy.  Off the living room is a very large deck with a dining table as well as a gas grill with room to spare, providing nice views of one of the pool and hot tub areas as well as the ski mountain.   Moving back inside, the bedrooms are on either side of the main space.   All 3 bedrooms are technically master bedrooms, with dedicated attached bathrooms.   That said, one bedroom is a primary master, and is certainly a treat.  The California King bed has a large custom log frame that screams western mountain resort.  The side tables next to the bed are tree trunk and root tables, very cool.  Large furniture and beds only fit into a large room, yet this room still has space for a dresser and an armchair with ottoman.  There's a wall mounted HDTV directly in front of the bed, plus from the bed you can stare up at the ski area.  The master bathroom is quite large as well.   The vanity has solid marble counters with dual undermounted sinks and plenty of counter space in between them.  There is a modern style of Jacuzzi tub that is large enough for two, plus an oversized glass enclosed shower.  This bathroom will not disappoint!  On the other side of the living area are the other two bedrooms and bathrooms.  The next master suite has a King bed too.  This room exchanges a very large bathroom and small closet for a normal sized bathroom and a walk in closet.  The bathroom is still a nice size, with a single sink and a good amount of counter space on either side, and a slate tiled glass door enclosed shower / tub combo that is more than okay.  This bedroom also has an HDTV that is perfectly placed for watching from bed.  The 3rd and final bedroom has 4 beds.  Three of the four beds are Twins, and the fourth bed is a double.  So this room could work for one couple, or up to 5 kids or singles, whatever works for your group!  The attached bathroom makes this room something of a master suite in its own right, but the bathroom is also accessible from the hallway, so it is ideal for entertaining guests or for use without disturbing the privacy of someone in the bedroom.  This condo has a few other features to enjoy.  There is a front loading high efficiency washer & dryer in the unit, so you can pack lightly if you like.  There is a dedicated indoor ski locker where the snow will melt off your skis and drain right out of the building.  The underground parking is really nice in both cold winter days and hot summer ones.  Of course there is free wifi throughout the condo and the lobby areas so you can work or enjoy digital media to your heart's content.  Just promise us you won't work much!  Come see why The Bear Lodge at Trappeur's Crossing is known as one of Steamboat's best places to stay.  When you rent this unit, you'll be enjoying the luxurious accommodations at a better price than anyone else!  We price this property to be at or below the competition, and if you find a better price for a comparable unit, we'll meet or beat it!  Even if you don't, we might still discount for certain groups, dates, or lengths of stay.  This home has a standard rate that is quoted for all guests.  However, this home has a “High Occupancy Fee” of $10 per person per night for each guest over the standard occupancy of 8 people.  Contact us with any questions or to discuss your dates.  We're here to help!  If you're sure this is the place for you, feel free to book online with confidence and our Vacation Rental Specialists,  who are available 7 days per week, will contact you to reconfirm the details of your reservation.

You've found a very unique and special property.  This 1-Bedroom cabin is pet friendly and has a private hot tub, something you will have a hard time finding anywhere else in this area.  It is located on a working ranch, so you could even bring a horse if you wanted too.  The ranch is just 9 miles west of downtown Steamboat Springs, at the base of Elk Mountain, also known as "Sleeping Giant."  The ranch is quite close to the Elk River and its confluence with the Yampa River.  This is a beautiful rural area that is pretty darn close and convenient to town.  Access is pretty easy.  You'll be on Highway 40 for all but the last 2 miles, which are on a well maintained, virtually flat Routt County road. The cabin was the first home on the ranch, so it is old and rustic, yet modernized in all the right ways.  It features hardwood floors, a wood stove, a private hot tub, HDTV, and sleeper sofa.  The private hot tub is right outside the cabin and provides a very relaxing place to do some stargazing.   Summer guests will enjoy the extra bit of outdoor space provided by the paver patio. There are a few important things to know and consider before booking this property.  Pets are welcome, when discussed & approved in advance.  Please contact us before booking to discuss your pet or pets, as well as pet rules.  The cabin is not huge and the bedroom ceiling is a bit low by the head of the bed, around 5 feet high there.  This is a cozy cabin ideal for couples or tight knit group of 3 to 4.  The bedroom is separated from the main living space, but there is no door for privacy.  Depending upon time of year, this 2000 acre ranch is home to 100-200 head of cattle.  You might see some and you might not.  The cabin is quite close to the main ranch house, and your hosts.  So you will have friendly neighbors close by, and help if you need something, but you will not have a cabin in complete solitude either.  Though access is pretty easy, 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive is recommended in winter.  Pets, Horses, ATVs, Snowmobiles are okay, and there's plenty of parking for trailers. When you stay here, you'll enjoy a good quality property with a very convenient location.  Winter guests will enjoy direct ski in access and easy walk out ski out access too.  Summer guests will have bike in bike out or hike in hike out access, and with the National Forest at your door, may even see some moose or other wildlife roaming around.  Whatever season you're panning your visit for, the entire ski area base and mountain village area is within easy walking distance.  This includes shops, restaurants, bars, activities, free concerts, special events, and more. The condo itself is a cozy, comfy place, and renovation was extensive.  From floor to ceiling, wall to wall, this property has a good quality.  New carpet & tile grace the floors. The popcorn ceilings are gone, and there is new texture on the walls too. The bathroom was completely redone with granite counters, new floor tile, vanity, fixtures, even a new toilet.  The kitchen also got new tile as well as new stainless steel appliances, butcher block and granite counters, and a nice updated backsplash. The western charm and spirit found in the town of Steamboat Springs and surrounding areas is perfectly complimented by this big, beautiful custom built log home.  Everyone loves this place!  Photos hardly do it justice.  Not only is the architectural style amazing, but the furnishings, artwork, and decoration bring together a complete package of tasteful style & spacious comfort.  Once you arrive, the warmth and comfort will set the tone for your entire vacation.  Though this home has an ideal bedding situation for groups of up to 6 couples, it is also designed with families in mind.  The home has an assortment of baby & toddler friendly items as well as luxurious soaps & shampoos in the bathrooms.  This home has beautiful quality, lots of space, great features, and a very good location as well.  Please read on for more details! At this property, they have all been attended to.  From the comfy slippers at the home's main entry to the heaters for your boots & gloves, the owners know that having warm feet are a nice way to improve a winter vacation.  But this is just one little detail.  In the kitchen, you'll find more than fancy faux old timey appliances and a full assortment of dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils.  You'll also find a nice assortment of spices, oils, and cookbooks.  No need to run out to buy every little thing!    You'll find bath robes in each of the 5 bedrooms, ideal to keep you warm touches, there is a lot to love about the home itself.  The log home architecture is simply stunning.  When you enter, the main living room is straight ahead.  Framed by a beautiful arch, the comfy furniture, massive stone fireplace, and soaring vaulted ceilings make this a room you'll really enjoy living in.  Just past the arch is a nice long formal dining table for 8, bar area, and south facing french doors that lead to the deck.  Natural light streams through the doors and arched windows above to bathe the whole space in natural light.  Also in this room you have a vintage desk which is ideal your keys or gloves and hats.  We hope you don't use it for working during your vacation, but your choice!  On one side of this great room, you'll find the spacious kitchen and secondary dining area.  On the other, the master suite.  This main level master bedroom is a really nice size.  It easily accommodates a King bed, large bedside tables, a large leather reading chair with ottoman, and an armoire.  This bedroom has south facing french doors for deck access and west facing windows as well.  tongue and groove wood ceilings over massive wood beams are present here and throughout the home.  The curtains, area rug and lovely quilt bedding soften the space just the right amount.  You'll sleep well here!  This master suite also has a walk in closet and private bathroom.  The master bathroom has a jacuzzi tub as well as a separate shower, and a north facing window, allowing for a great cross breeze throughout the master suite.   The kitchen here is a real treat.  It has an old timey farmhouse style to it, but of course all the modern appurtenances.  Antiqued cabinetry complements the claw footed iron and steel gas range and oven with hood.  You'll find built in plate holders plus glass windowed cabinets and open shelving with wainscoting backboards that create a lovely visual display but also makes finding what you need at little bit easier.  Even the dishwasher has a custom cabinet panel to make the space more appealing.  The plentiful amount of floor space between the two sides of this kitchen redefine what a galley kitchen can be.  This room is so large that it easily accommodates an 8 seat dining table.  Just off of the large kitchen is a full bathroom, then the laundry and mud room, and garage access.  On the other side of the kitchen is yet another set of french doors leading the deck.  The deck wraps around the whole southern front half of the home, and includes the private hot tub, gas BBQ grill, outdoor dining set, and nice views of the Steamboat Ski Resort and the southern Park Range.      The master suite is nice and big, but the other 4 bedrooms are even bigger.  They are all equal in size, and with 2 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 bedrooms downstairs, on opposite sides of each floor, these 4 bedrooms are spread out to the 4 corners of the home, which creates great privacy and separation of space when you want it.  These 4 bedrooms are plenty wide, but extra long, giving you so much space!  Let's explore the upstairs bedrooms first. When you head upstairs, there is a large landing with a sitting area that rests well below the great room's soaring vaulted ceilings.  This area both connects and separates the two upper bedrooms.  On the east side of the home is what most would consider the secondary master bedroom.  This second bedroom has a King size bed, private balcony with ski area views, vaulted ceilings, sitting area, and a TV.  On the west side, the third bedroom has 2 Queen beds, one on each end of the room, with plenty of space for a desk, dresser, and armoire in between, plus closet nooks in all 4 corners of the room.  Both of these upper level bedrooms have vaulted tongue and groove ceilings with exposed beams, and arched windows.     Heading downstairs from the main level, you'll find the lower living room is even bigger than the main living room.  It is large enough to accommodates multiple sofas and loveseats focused around a large HDTV, and still has room for a table that is ideal for board games, puzzles, or tablets and laptops.  This lower living room has two sets of french doors that lead out to a large patio that borders the whole south side of the home.  The mature landscaping and overhead deck make this patio area nice and private and provide shade, but still allow a good bit of natural light to filter through to the lower level living and bedrooms.  Each of the two lower level bedrooms have a Queen bed and french doors leading to the patio area.  One of the bedrooms has a sitting area with TV and the other has a large desk, ideal for the workaholic in your group.   This home is centrally located, convenient to the ski resort as well as shopping areas, yet it is found on a short, quiet cul de sac.  From this home, on a nice day, you might walk to the ski area base or grocery stores, but you don't have to walk.  You will have the option to ride the city's free bus, since the purple line picks up and drops off within a few hundred yards of the home.  The purple line is a short loop which comes by every 20 minutes and is a short loop which makes for quick rides to or from the slopes.  Guests who rent equipment can store it free at the rental shops in Gondola Square, making the walk to and from the free bus very easy.  Also, we can get you 20 to 30% off of equipment rentals!  Guests here might want to have a vehicle, or a few, for flexibility, but Steamboat Springs also has taxis and Ubers available, so even without a Please inquire with us if you have questions about a specific property amenity so that we can give you the most accurate information possible for your dates ** This 2- Bedroom + Loft + Den condo functions as a 4-Bedroom has been nicely renovated throughout, and has good amenities onsite, yet comes with an affordable price.   A few of the features you'll enjoy include hardwood flooring throughout the main level, beautiful marble like Corian counters in the kitchen and bathrooms, reclaimed barn-wood fireplace, and vaulted ceilings in the living room and loft.  The condo has a consistent, clean, mountain chic style and decor throughout.    On the main level, there are two bedrooms with Queens, ideal for couples.  These two bedrooms share a full bathroom.  Upstairs, the 3rd bedroom and loft bedroom each have multiple beds, making them ideal for singles or kids.  The third bedroom is a Twin over Full, so if your group has 3 couples,  this condo still works!  This 3rd bedroom also has a large HDTV, a couple of comfy chairs, and an original Nintendo video game system, complete with controllers and games.  Designed as a place for kids to hang out, we know that some parents will find the nostalgic call of childhood video games too much to resist.  In this condo, there are a total of 4 HDTVs, which will allow any media loving group the opportunity to spread out once you're home from a day of adventure.  Want to bring your family and friends together o enjoy each other's company?  The main living and dining area gives you that opportunity!  The condo and the development offer some additional benefits to travelers.  In the condo, enjoy free Wifi, your own washer and dryer, a warm and trouble free gas fireplace, a covered balcony, and nice views of the mountains.  The development has a couple of hot tubs and in the summer, the pool opens.  There are a couple of BBQ areas, a playground, and right down the street, Whistler Park is a great place for kids, with a large playground area, large flat fields, and charcoal grills.  The location of this property is a nice benefit.  This development is located at the corner of Walton Creek Road and Whistler Road, where the free city bus picks up every 10 minutes.  Getting anywhere in town is easy, no car needed.. However, this particular condo is actually closer to the intersection of Walton Creek Road and Village Drive, which means that walking to Gondola Square is actually pretty doable, especially if you're renting your skis with free overnight storage in Gondola Square!  Just head to the right from the parking lot, slightly uphill for about 50 yards, and then you have a nice flat sidewalk leading right to Gondola Square.  Another option is to walk across the street from the bus stop, and follow the paved path along Burgess Creek right to the Gondola.  Summer guests will like Gondola Square just as much as winter guests, as the base area comes alive with so many activities, events, shows, concerts, and festivals.  With Burgess Creek flowing through it all, the base area in summer is a great place to be, and with no snow on the ground, an even easier walk than in ski season.  This development is also right up the street from the Yampa River.  From here, you can walk, stroll, or bike along the Burgess Creek Trail and the Yampa River Core Trail, which follows the river all the way into Downtown Steamboat, about 3.5 miles away, and then keeps going!   Whether you're visiting in winter or summer, this condo provides a good blend of quality and affordability.  Our Vacation Rental Specialists are available 7 days a week.
