Innkeepers Brian & Maria Chamberlain

Brian and Maria initially bought the property as a home base for their family. With seven kids and over a dozen grandchildren they wanted a place where everyone could gather. But in-between those times they decided to open a B & B! Having raised a large family, they have plenty of experience in cooking, cleaning, and hospitality. But Maria's experience with cooking started long before she raised a family. Involved in 4-H from a young girl, Maria won several awards in the Foods & Nutrition project and at the LA County Fair. Her 4-H leader/mentor was the oldest tenured home-economics teacher in the history of California, and Maria spent many hours in her classroom as well as in her leader's home acquiring the skills to make healthful and tasty meals. As a young adult Maria worked in seven different restaurants and in various roles including management. She even was part of a team opening The Good Earth in Southern California. Both Brian and Maria enjoy cooking farm fresh meals straight from farm to table. They hope you will feel right at home!
