Spend the night in an art gallery! This romantic 1848 bed and breakfast is in the charming village of Terre Hill, surrounded by Amish farmland. Hear the clip-clop of Amish buggies as you browse through the art gallery and laugh at Bruce’s whimsical drawings. Relax in whirlpool tubs or in front of the fireplaces. Stroll through extensive flower gardens and rest on Victorian porches. Enjoy four-course breakfasts each morning before you venture off to go antique or outlet shopping, golf, hiking, or visit Amish sites. Near many one-room schoolhouses, farm markets and covered bridges. We also have three vacation homes in Terre Hill - perfect for families, romantic honeymoons or girlfriends getaways. Children of all ages are welcome and two of the unit have first floor bathrooms and bedrooms - great for those folks with bad hips or knees!
Bruce and Jan Garrabrandt left the hectic pace of metropolitan living in 1996, to open a bed and breakfast in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
Bruce is an author and full-time artist, specializing in whimsical colored pencil drawings. His ten published books include several collections of his humorous art.
Innkeeper Jan is a self-confessed recipe addict. She cuts them from newspapers and magazines, prints them off the internet, and trades recipes with guests. Bruce often teases her that she could try a new recipe each day and not exhaust her supply.
They thoroughly enjoy meeting new guests and providing a romantic and fun getaway for folks from all over the world.
