Frisco at Sunset

A Rocky Mountain Retreat close to premier skiing and outdoor adventures. Relax and enjoy this ski resort Colorado Bed and Breakfast.

Frisco, CO- Gateway to the Rockies

The majesty of the Rocky Mountains have always called to the adventurous, and those seeking a quiet escape into nature.

Frisco, Colorado is a quaint town in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, and the gateway to Summit County. Framed by Lake Dillon and the Frisco Marina to the east, and the entrance to Eagles Nest Wilderness to the west, year-round activities surround this mountain town.

Frisco was built in response to the mining boom in the area. Now a prominent ski town, Frisco is in a prime location for skiers and outdoor enthusiasts. Four major ski resorts are nearby; Copper Mountain, Vail, Keystone, and Breckenridge.

Cozy Rocky Mountain Retreat

The Frisco Inn offers many amenities to their adventurous guests. A gourmet breakfast or continental breakfast bar, afternoon happy hour wine and Hors d’oeurves with fresh treats, specialty coffee, indoor and outdoor hot tub, complimentary bikes and snowshoes, and a concierge service.

The Mount Royal Spa provides guests with top-notch pampering during their stay. Foot massages, facials, hand and foot reflexology, and hot stone massages are just a few options for guests looking to indulge in some “self-care” to treat themselves or a loved one for an anniversary or birthday.

Feeling sore after a long hike or from hitting the slopes? The Mt. Royal Spa offers an Athletic Massage. Combined with trigger point therapy, it is designed to decompress and relax tight muscles.

Get to Know the Owner and Innkeepers

Owner Bruce Knoepfel has over 35 years of hospitality experience, and it shows in the design of the Frisco Inn, which is reminiscent of the small boutique B&Bs of Europe.

An avid skier and outdoor enthusiast, Bruce has traveled to 80+ countries and consistently brings the inspiration of his travels back to the Frisco Inn. Through his travels, he noticed the aloofness of the travel industry throughout the world. Guests won’t find that aloofness with Bruce at the helm of the inn. He vowed that every guest feels pampered and welcome at this Rocky Mountain retreat.

The Frisco Inn is primarily run by the innkeepers: Leslie Nelms, Patrick Vincent, Jonee Austin, and Nannette Frego.
