Del & Gwen have been married for over 40 years. They met in college and have raised four children who have given them nine grandchildren. Family is very important to the Groens.

Gwen is a retired nurse who enjoys her time being a Grammie, reading, doing interior decorating, practicing hospitality, traveling, and keeping up with family and friends online.

Del has retired from his career as an educator and businessman. He enjoys being a Grandpa, reading, hiking and outdoor life, travelling and serving. Del is also the resident handyman, doing property and vehicle maintenance and upgrades. He is becoming a hobby photographer.

Del and Gwen love to travel and recently went to Germany to visit their son, a Captain in the Marine Corps, and his family. While oversees they spent nine weeks touring 17 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
