Watch the action on the slopes from the many windows of this round slope-side home. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort offers winter favorites such as skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing. The resort transitions to mountain bike trails, chair lift rides, festivals, concerts, and more in the summer. You can walk the street or the slopes to access the lodge or golf club for every event offered during the winter and summer seasons. Within 15 minutes of the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, Banner Elk Winery, and Sugar Mountain Public Golf Course, there are plenty of activities to experience while staying at Sugar Express. The town of Banner Elk is 10 minutes away, providing access to shopping and favorite local restaurants.   This thoughtfully outfitted home has appealing artwork and upscale furnishings throughout. The main level features an open space with a living area, kitchen, and dining space, while the lower level offers a sitting room next to the large windows and plenty of space to store mountain gear near the lower level entrance. Both levels overlook the mountain slopes and include big-screen TVs. Enjoy year-round mountain views from the seating around the fire pit. There is accommodating space for up to 10 guests in a main-level king master bedroom, a main-level king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room on the lower level. Each of the cozy rooms has a TV with paid programming.   Guests will have year-round comfort with central heating and air conditioning. There is a washer and dryer and wifi. Pets are not allowed. There is room for up to four cars - Please note that this home does sit directly on the slopes, making drift from the snow-making machines highly likely to cover the driveway during ski season. Please be prepared with 4-wheel drive vehicles and tire chains.
