Welcome to Mount Ever-Rest, a chinked log cabin retreat with long range views located between Grandfather Mountain and Boone. This charming cabin atop the mountain feels more like a tree house! Overlooking miles of mountain views, you won't want to leave. The main level have a living room with the views, the full kitchen, and a cozy den with wood-burning fireplace. Phenomenal mountain views await on the deck. Upstairs are two queen bedrooms, each to a wing. The ceilings are open and lofted, but each room has a door for privacy. In the center is a shared full bath with a combination tub/shower. Downstairs is a second living space with a sleeper sofa and a third bedroom with a king bed. On the upper decks you'll find rockers and a gas grill, and on the lower decks you'll find a new hot tub and bed-style swing for lazing as well as a fire pit at the top of the driveway. Should you choose to explore the area, you are close to Grandfather Mountain, Grandfather Winery, the Alpine Wilderness Coaster, Sugar Ski, Beech Ski, or charming Boone, home of Appalachian State University. This home is down a paved, but narrow and winding road off of Hwy 105. - Firewood may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance.
