LAKE LURE BEACH BUNGALOW is literally the closest cabin you can rent to downtown Lake Lure.  Located directly across the street is Lake Lure Beach and Waterpark.  Or you can stroll the lakefront boardwalk along the marina to Morse Park or the Flowering Bridge, just a short walk from the home.  Hop in the car and within minutes you’re at Chimney Rock Village, Chimney Rock State Park, shops, restaurants, and riverside walking area. Whether you are here for a quick weekend, or a two-week vacation, this is the quintessential Lake Lure experience.  Built in the 1970’s, this THREE BEDROOM, TWO BATH log home is an elegant mixture of rustic charm and recent aesthetic renovations.  Once inside you will immediately know you’ve made the right choice for your vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills.  Open the sliding glass doors, feel the cool mountain air, and listen to the voices of pure enjoyment coming from Lake Lure Beach. Nestled on a hillside with mature trees and lush landscape, this cabin is situated on a one-acre lot with a sense of privacy as there are no immediate neighbors on either side.  The paved driveway leads to a level parking area.  With only three steps to get inside, it’s easy to unload groceries and luggage.  The main level has soaring vaulted ceilings, and plenty of seating around the stone wood burning FIREPLACE.  The décor is stunning and brings you back in time to vintage Lake Lure.  An open inviting floor plan joins the living room, dining area and kitchen. Sliding glass doors connect the very best of indoor and outdoor living.  Outside on the deck are rocking chairs where you can enjoy year-round lake views and then grill on the GAS BBQ. The kitchen is small but mighty offering side-by-side refrigerator freezer, dishwasher, electric stove and oven, microwave, crock pot, toaster, and both KEURIG and DRIP COFFEE MAKERS.  A beautiful deep copper sink accents the wood plank countertops.  Steps away is the dining room table with seating for four people.   The split bedroom plan has two bedrooms on each side of the cabin offering a bit of privacy between rooms.  The main level lake view Master Suite has KING SIZE BED, two nightstands with reading lights, side chair for dressing, walk-in closet, high ceilings, and a PRIVATE BATHROOM with walk-in tile shower.  The main level lake view Guest Room has TWO QUEEN SIZE BEDS, nightstands with reading lights, FLAT SCREEN TV, six-drawer dresser, high ceilings, ceiling fan, walk-in closet, and even a small desk for working while on vacation.   Upstairs is a loft-style third bedroom with a QUEEN SIZE BED, two nightstands with reading lights, five-drawer dresser, and high ceilings.  Looking out the loft over the living room, you can see the lake out the A-frame style windows.  Note:  This is a loft style bedroom but does have a solid half wall that offers a hint of privacy. *** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season.
