Magnolia House and Gardens started life as the private residence of the Sifford family in 1890, just 3 years after Clover incorporated as a town. Sitting on Main Street, just a block and a half away from the town center, this house has seen a lot of changes. But what hasn’t changed is the character and original features of the house. With wide hallways, large rooms, and shady porches, the house is a reminder of simpler times and southern traditions. In 2015, the house was opened as a bed and breakfast serving up Southern hospitality, food and comfort. The meals are home cooked, and come with conversation and lots of coffee. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance, and both State and National Parks within a few minutes drive. We are also close to Charlotte and the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
