Liberty Hill Farm was founded in 1780 by John Emerson, grandfather of Dr. Charles Wesley Emerson, founder of Emerson College in Boston. Our family is only the fifth family to own the farm since its inception. Once you visit the farm you’ll realize why there’s been such a low turnover rate. Sugarbush Ski Resort is now the main attraction that brings folks to Warren year after year. Add in incredible cross country trails as well as biking & a golf course nearby for the summer vacationers, and you’ve got yourself one heck of a vacation.

It’s not a surprise that if you visit Central Vermont in the winter, it’s going to be cold! Vermont is famous for beautiful snowy days and incredibly friendly locals! Be sure to bundle up if you’re coming in the winter and pack plenty of warm clothes.
If you’re coming in summer or any other time of the year, definitely bring layers so you can adapt to whatever the weather throws at you. It can always be cool in Warren so it’s best to have your favorite light jacket on you just in case.
