Located in a historic building, The Sidecar Inn Bed & Breakfast is in quiet and rural Sevier County. We are near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park but away from the noise and traffic of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Many entertainment, shopping, and dining options are just minutes away, and we provide alternate routes that avoid the worst of the traffic. The Sidecar Inn Bed & Breakfast occupies the historic Thomas Brabson house completed in 1854. Three bedrooms are available for guests, each with a private bathroom. The guest entrance is at the front of the house, up the original stone steps and onto the porch located under a Federal style portico. A swing on one side provides a relaxing location to read. Much of the original woodwork is still in place. Examples include the Tennessee red pine wide-plank flooring, handrail and trim on the front stairs, fireplace mantels, and the shiplap exterior and interior. We have used antique furnishings as much as possible. Breakfast A full multi-course breakfast is served each morning. Most baked goods served are home made, and include sourdough breads, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. Dietary preferences such as vegetarian or vegan, or food allergies, can be accommodated with prior notice. In case of an early departure to go items will be available with prior notice. Coffee and tea will be available from early in the morning through late afternoon. Your innkeeper, Roger Moroney, resides on-site and looks forward to assisting guests in an exploration of all the area has to offer. Any balance due for your stay will be collected the day of arrival or upon check-in. A tour of the B&B plus an overview of breakfast offerings and schedule will be provided at check-in. Check out is 11:00am. Late check out is generally not available due to the time required to prepare the rooms for the next guest. We can hold luggage for later pick up if necessary. Along with owning a sidecar rig, consisting of a 1995 Harley-Davidson FLHR and a 1998 Liberty Classic sidecar, we also have a dog on site. Kiera joined us from the Sevier Animal Care Center in February 2022. She is about 7 years old, and a 50/50 mix of Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd. She generally stays in our private living area, but does like to exuberantly greet our guests with a loud welcome followed by some sniffing. She’s a sweet girl that loves ear scratches and belly rubs.

The main level wrap around deck has a beautiful, outdoor gas fireplace with a mounted TV, and a wrought iron table and chairs for outdoor dining and lots of rockers to relax and enjoy the mountain view. There is also a gas grill on this deck. Lower Level Head downstairs to get the fun started! The lower level has the game room with a pool table, foosball table, arcade game, playing card table, kitchenette, mounted TV, board games and puzzles. A sleeper sofa is located here.
