There isn't much public transportation in the area, so you are best having a car available, but you can easily use any ride-sharing company like Lyft or Uber into downtown and back. We will provide codes in your booking email and in the House Manual. As with any lake house, there are a lot of stairs on this property. We recommend exercising caution on any of our stairs, inside or out. Please inquire if stairs cause an issue with your guests. We are in the city limits of Austin, but it's still the country out here. Please respect our neighbors and their property. Do not park or stop on their property. We also have two driveways; an upper from the main road, and then a lower driveway at the lake level. We recommend the lower driveway as the upper driveway is very steep and is good for only 2 vehicles (NO TRUCKS). There are a maximum of 4 vehicles allowed at the property total. Please minimize the in and out traffic on the lower driveway and close the gate behind you. We have security cameras outside of our home at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. Scooters (Lime & Bird) as well as Lyft and Uber are the best ways to get around Austin, especially this close to everything. However, there are also a lot of public transportation options in this area (see CapMetro's website). We have security cameras outside of our property at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside, respecting our guests' privacy. 1) No smoking allowed (of any kind) ($350 fine) 2) No loud noises after 10 PM per city ordinance 3) No events or parties. Additional day guests are $40/person/day 4) No pets allowed 5) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you.
