Three lovely buildings situated on half an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens comprise the Maison Fleurie, a sanctuary for guests traveling to the Napa Valley. The Maison Fleurie, our "flowering house," welcomes the visitor to an inn reminiscent of southern France. Finely crafted furniture, rich fabrics, and a huge stone fireplace lend their ambiance to this historic main buidling, where a bountiful breakfast and afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres are served. Borrow our bicycles for a ride through charming Yountville and the Napa Valley. Explore tasting rooms, wine caves and stylish boutiques along the way. The pool and oversized hot tub will welcome you back after a full and fun day. Each room features a full, queen or king bed, and many feature a fireplace, patio or jetted spa tub. Maison Fleurie is part of the Four Sisters Inns Classic Collection.
Recently voted as one of the Top 50 Small Hotels in the United States by readers of Conde Nast Traveler, Lavender is intimate and luxuriously cozy and combines the warm colors of Provence with contemporary design elements to create a vibrant setting that blends old and new. Don't miss a game of boules in the garden. Each guestroom features a fireplace, a king-sized bed heaped with pillows and large brilliantly painted bathrooms with double sinks and contemporary surfacing. The inn also features wireless Internet access throughout property. There are two spacious guestrooms in the main house. The courtyard rooms surround the garden and are entered through a private patio.
In 2000, a local Sonoma winemaker approached former Four Sisters Inns President Shelley Post to discuss a piece of property he owned in town, just a block off the Sonoma Plaza. She agreed that the location seemed ideal for a small hotel, perfect for guests who would enjoy walking right out the door to the shops, restaurants and historic attractions such as the 1823 Mission San Francisco Solano. Construction of the Inn at Sonoma took place in 2002, with Shelley applying her innkeeper’s eye to all phases of development. She worked closely with California designer Shirley Jensen to create a warm and hospitable environment, in sync with the casual Sonoma wine country lifestyle. Their instincts were spot-on; from the moment it opened, Inn at Sonoma has been a favorite with visitors who appreciate special touches like the outdoor hot tub and fireplaces in every guest room. In 2013, a detached cottage on the property was completely remodeled adding eight guestrooms to the Inn at Sonoma. Rooms in the Vintner’s Cottage boast either one king or two queen beds, each with a fireplace, and four with jetted tubs.
