With 180 degree stunning views of the mountains, including Whitefish Mountain, Glacier National Park, and the Columbia Mountains, this is your place to be central to everything! Situated on about 1 manicured acre, you have space outside and in. The beautifully decorated Montana Mountain View home is laid out with 2 master suite areas on opposite sides of the home and the 3rd bedroom and living areas in between. Share closeness with friends and family and retreat to your separate areas at night! Close to town (15 min to Whitefish, 10 min to Kalispell) but far away enough for peace and quiet! Montana Mountain View is in the valley "farm field" location and is surrounded by mountains, but your arrival will be easy year-round. Whether you want to come in the summer to play in the lakes and rivers, explore the mountains, do a little horseback riding or come in the winter for skiing, riding snowmobiles or ice fishing, you have a perfect spot for it all and a place to park your machines and trailers and stow your equipment. Enjoy the new hot tub after a day of excursions to ease the body and get ready for the next day's adventures. Montana Mountain View welcomes you anytime of the year. When you walk in the door, there is a nice entry that leads into the open living area to remove your boots or shoes and keep them from getting your way while you hang out at home. The first living area (yes, there are two here) is a great place to kick back and talk about the memories you just made while gazing at the mountains highlighted by the setting sun through east-facing windows. Did we mention all the windows in Montana Mountain View? Windows are everywhere! You can be in either of the living areas, dining, kitchen or the larger master and have the views for which you came to Montana. Both living areas are open to the kitchen and dining area for easy interaction while your home. In the dining/kitchen area, there are four additional bar stools at the counter that divides the two places for extra seating or having a snack while the cook of the group is whipping up a meal for those days you want to stay in. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a special space for your coffee and wine preparation. As they say, "Life is what happens between coffee and wine!" The second living area is where you'll find a large TV in front of a huge leather sectional with plenty of soft throws available to keep you cozy warm during the cooler evenings. The fun here doesn't stop when the sun goes down, so take in a movie together or pick from the many board games provided for at-home entertainment. Off the TV/entertainment room is the smaller "master suite". We are noting this room as a suite because it's separated from the other bedrooms and has it's own full bathroom just outside the bedroom door. This bathroom and small hall containing a linen closet separates the TV area from the bedroom, and the bathroom proximity to the TV room allows it's use as a shared bath too so no one has to go to the other side of the house for quick break. This master has a walk-in closet and a large rustic chest of drawers for storage to keep everything in its place. In the front center section of the house, there is the true shared bathroom, the laundry room, the guest bedroom, and a clean 2-car garage (available for your use). The guest bedroom a comfy queen bed and has a click-clack sofa for extra sleeping arrangements, perfect a child. If you're not familiar with "click-clacks," think high end futon. It looks like a regular upholstered sofa but pulls out into a full-sized bed like a futon. The main master-suite is very private with hall space between it and the other areas of the house, and it has enough floor space to waltz with your love or do yoga in the light of the sunrise. A tall, king size bed defines the spot where you will be reluctant to end your day but will happily change your mind once you sink into the solace of the soothing, soft mattress. The ensuite bathroom has a shower/tub combo and lots of counter space for necessities. The entire home is tastefully decorated in a rustic Montana style with the convenience and comfort of all the modern amenities. New furnishings, an elegant crystal-drop chandelier over the dining table, fur accent pillows, colorful throws, great wifi, and more! Outside, the backyard is fully fenced and backs up to a large parcel of open land. The new propane grill is situated on the big concrete patio close to the patio dining set to easily move between the two. You can spend all day outdoors in the mild summers as Montana only has a couple weeks of temperatures where you will want to retreat to the shade or spend the afternoon at one of the many lakes in the valley or in the mountains. The front yard is manicured and landscaped as well and attracts wildlife passing through. The deer love the green grass and usually stop for a snack in the early morning and at dusk! Note: If you plan to visit Glacier National Park, please go to their website for park access details. This year reservations are required in addition to obtaining a park pass and are available on first-come first-served basis. Plan ahead and check early. If you're an early bird, they do allow entry without a reservation at 6:00 am. Reservations are available in blocks of time and for one day ventures. Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the office and the workshop. We are available for assistance by phone, text, email, or Airbnb messaging platform during your stay. We're happy to help! Small, quiet neighborhood located in a farm field area with space in properties. A vehicle is a necessity to travel the area. Winter requires at least a front wheel drive vehicle.

Both areas have TV's for entertainment or you can sit together and recall the excitement of the day's events. No one will be left out or will be left without a cushy seat to settle into. The equipment out on the farm is only for the farmer's use and there isn't a fence to keep the rug rats contained. Large windows grace two of the three living area walls and the dining room, so you can look out to the course and remember to make your tee time or see how much fun everyone is having on the deck and join them! The master suite has a king sized bed outfitted with crisp, white linens and is decorated with rustic furniture with classic lines. More fabulous windows look to the fairway and are covered with top down-bottom up shades for privacy while still allowing great light to brighten the room. There are wireless chargers on each nightstand to charge your phone while you sleep. A large walk-in closet provides enough space for everything you brought to keep you organized. In the ensuite bathroom, you have plenty of room and counter space to get ready with two, on-the-counter glass bowl sinks in front of an expansive wall mirror. The shower is big enough for two, tiled in a dark natural color to match the granite counter tops throughout the condo. The guest bedroom is spacious and has the same style; clean, rustic furniture with crisp, white linens for a peaceful night's sleep. The oversized closets are mirrored and provide full-length viewing to make sure you look your best before you head out to dinner or one of the many events held throughout the year in surrounding cities and towns. Again, with wireless chargers on the nightstands, you will have the opportunity to charge up to have the battery power needed to take photos and videos of your special moments and the beauty of the area. The shared bathroom has a shower/tub combo if you prefer to soak in a hot bath and two sinks in the same style as the master bath for plenty of elbow room to clean up after a good day of activities. Speaking of a good day of activities, you may want to loosen up tight and sore muscles in the private, therapeutic hot tub out on the deck. Sit back and let the jets sooth you while you're surrounded by splendidly manicured greens or, in the winter, the outdoors covered in glistening snow. No need to stay inside while you're home either. You can dine outside using the patio furniture and umbrella to keep you out of the sun. What else do you need for a great stay in the mountain area on a golf course? Glacier Digs is only 15 minutes from Glacier Park International Airport, 30 minutes to Glacier National Park, 15 minutes from Whitefish, 30 minutes to the Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, 30 minutes to Kalispell, 35 minutes to Flathead Lake, and 40 minutes to Bigfork. There are so many places to go and see within this area that you will need more time to get it all in. We have been in the Valley for 10 years and still haven't hiked all the trails or been to every cool place in the mountains and surrounding area. Spend your days water skiing, snowmobiling, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, rafting, fishing, boating, biking, OTVing, dirt bike riding, horseback riding, ziplining, hiking, camping, touring, dining, and many other fun things! Come play in Montana and stay at Glacier Digs! Note: The previous two years Glacier National Park has required a reservation along with the regular park pass to enter the park from June to mid September. If you're an early bird, you can enter the park before 6:00 AM without a reservation, but you will encounter a line of other early birds too. Reserve your dates early! Dates and requirements are found on the National Park website. 2nd Note: In summer of 2021, guests were presented with the challenge of a rental car shortage. That may not happen for 2022, but keep it mind. We are available to assist you during your stay with the phone number and email address provided in your check-in details. Call, text, or type away!

Big Glacier Getaway is back after a year of renovation and adding more space! This newly finished addition is in a fantastic location situated on 2 acres within a 5 minute drive to Whitefish and Whitefish Lake and 20 minutes to Whitefish Ski Resort. Less than 45 minutes away is the Glacier National Park west entrance and just head south for 30 minutes to enjoy Flathead Lake! The perfect place to plan the many activities available in the area. You'll be staying in a newly constructed and renovated, main level 3 bedroom 2 bath decorated with a rustic and contemporary vibe. Ample windows give to a light and airy feeling while you're indoors. The private deck and oversized hot tub offers a relaxing and peaceful recovery from playing hard in the mountains and on the lakes and rivers, and a fully fenced yard area provides a safe place for the pooch to play too. While you take in a movie or catch up on the news (who does that on vacation? haha), you'll be comfortable on the big sectional sleeper sofa (queen size sleeper) with 2 recliners set just right to see the news you're not really going to watch. The kitchen is open to the living area and has a large island with a couple of counter stools for the kids to sit and entertain whomever might be loitering behind the stove saying, "Let's just go out to eat." If you do decide to stay in for dinner and cook, the gas range faces the TV and the counter top space is expansive enough to prepare a huge buffet style dinner. In the dining area, the table seats 6 and with the counter stools and island area, dinner for 8 is served! The master bedroom offers privacy as it's split from the other bedrooms by the living and kitchen area, and there is a king size bed in the bedroom where you can comfortably recharge yourself after enjoying a day of winter sports or having some time in the sun on one of the lakes in the area. Plenty of room to stretch out to catch a show or two before the exhaustion of the day's activities pull your eyelids shut. If you're a little chilled, turn on the decorative gas stove that's set back in the corner of the bedroom. Double patio doors welcome you to access the deck to lounge or hop into the hot tub without having to run through the house. The laundry and bathroom areas also separate the master bedroom from the other bedrooms and can be closed off from the main area of the house as well. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are spacious with full closets and queen beds outfitted with cushy beds. You and your family or guests will have a place for everything and are able to retreat for some quiet time without being cramped into tiny bedrooms. In the shared bathroom, there is a shower/tub combo to give the option for a long, hot soak instead of being on your feet even longer after Montana outdoor playtime. This is a pet-friendly home, but we request a max of 2 (dogs only) that are house trained, stay off the furniture, and well behaved. A pooper scooper is provided for cleanup, and the pets do not have to be trained to use this equipment, but the humans do! Note: If you are coming to Montana to visit Glacier National Park, please refer to their website for entry details. Reservations are now needed in addition to the standard park pass. Exterior photos will be posted closer to June 1st as landscaping and deck completion cannot be done until the snow melts. There is a previous photo of the home (addition has been added to the front) and an overhead shot of the area. Guests have access to the entire main level home and yard. Please call or text if you have any issues. Contact information is provided with your check-in details. A small pond is located on the property, but, unfortunately, it doesn't hold fish. There is a mother-in-law apartment above the home that has a separate, private entrance on the opposite side of the house. The owners live onsite and are very respectful of your privacy but will give you a smile and a wave if they see you on the driveway.
