This immaculate well-maintained 5,000 square foot Queen Anne Home is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings and remains virtually unchanged since it was built by the Kerr Family in the 1880’s. The home showcases twelve-foot ceilings, eight-foot doors, four hand carved fireplaces, exquisite woodworking and original stained glass windows. The Grand Kerr House offers one first floor and three second floor guest rooms. The first floor guest room has a private bath with the home's original marble sink and copper soaking tub. The second floor guest rooms are approximately 225 square feet each with full closets and two with electric fireplaces. The second floor bathroom area has been extended to include two private lavatories, a vanity area, and a tiled walk-in shower room with heated floor, Kohler fixtures and a dressing area.  In addition to the four guest rooms, there are two 120 square foot rooms, formerly the servant's quarters, currently used for guest spa services, an additional fifth guest bedroom on the second floor, and a 1,500 square foot third floor yoga loft with a half-bath. Year 2017 updates include new steel roof, gutters, drain tile system, two air handlers with high efficiency heat pumps, exterior paint, four rebuilt chimneys, refinished original floors, new carpeting in guest rooms, remodeled guest bathrooms, and new kitchen appliances, washer and dryer. The owner's living space, located in the garden apartment, is approximately 1,000 square feet and includes a full kitchen, sauna, one bedroom and office space (that can be converted into a second bedroom). The Grand Kerr House is located in Grand Rapids, Ohio, 30 minutes southwest of Toledo on US-24 along the Maumee River. Within walking distance, visitors will find boutique shopping, excellent cuisine and day adventures that include kayaking, hiking and the chance to step back into history at a working 1800's Mill and on Railroad and Canal Rides.  Just a short drive away, guests can enjoy Golfing, Wine Tasting, the Toledo Museum of Art, the Toledo Zoo & Botanical Gardens and the Hollywood Casino. This B&B has been active for three years offering four guest rooms, spa services and yoga classes. Annual income in 2018 and 2019 has averaged $30,000.
