Welcome to the Fox Cub Creekside! This newly renovated one-bedroom basement suite is located in the west end of Sun Peaks. It has its own private balcony with beautiful mountain and creek views. 
It certainly does not feel like a basement suite as it boasts 10 ft ceilings and is above ground with large windows that allow a lot of light into the suite. It is beautifully furnished and decorated with ample room for a couple or single person. There are heated floors, a gas fireplace, a small ski boot/shoe dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, and in-suite laundry. The hosts live upstairs and offer their secure locked up shed for bike and sports equipment security. 

There are concrete floors between the living spaces and a double dry-walled ceiling to help with the sound barrier. It is a private, quiet, and cozy space for any avid mountain enthusiast or simply a retreat for enjoying a relaxing and peaceful holiday away from home.

Within 14 km is Heffley Lake (paddleboard destination), as well as Embleton Mountain (locals love this little hike)

The Artic Fox has parking for 2 vehicles. There is room for one vehicle in the garage and one vehicle in front of the garage, as well as guest parking in the Snow Creek complex.
Located just minutes from the main village the valley trail is easily accessible to walk and ski through the village to the main chair lifts.
The condo complex is also located in a quiet cul-de-sac.

Welcome to Taluswood #36! A newly renovated 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom townhome with ski-in/ski-out access, two indoor fireplaces, an outdoor fire table, two private balconies, a BBQ, a private hot tub and a private garage!  

Main Floor 

Enter through the spacious mudroom with ample space to store all your outdoor wear complete with heated floors. Store all your adventure equipment (bikes, skis, boards...) in the private 1-car garage. As you pass through the mud room you are welcomed into the main living area full of natural light and surrounded by trees.  

The kitchen features all new stainless-steel appliances including a wolf Dual Fuel Range, a Sub-zero fridge, dishwasher, and microwave drawer. The beautiful custom cabinetry is continued into the dining room, which seats 8.  

The living room features a stone surround fireplace, the perfect backdrop for any occasion. There is a flat-screen TV, and lots of seating perfect for entertaining or relaxing with a movie.  

Just off the living room is the first private balcony. On this balcony, you will find the BBQ and fire table. Relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the snow falling or the sun shining through the trees! Enjoy indoor/outdoor living all year round.  

This floor also has a powder room and laundry room, both with heated floors.  

Top Floor 

Up one flight of stairs is the first primary bedroom retreat. The primary bedroom features a king bed, flat screen tv (smart TV, no cable), stone surround electric fireplace and ensuite bathroom.  

The ensuite has heated floors, an enlarged curb-less shower, free-standing tub, bidet toilet, heated towel rack, double vanity and sinks all completed with the beautiful custom cabinetry that runs throughout the rest of the home.

The remaining bedrooms are located on the lower level.  

The first bedroom features the second primary bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite with a shower/tub combo and heated floors. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds.

LOCATION 

This unit is located in Whistler’s Creekside area in Taluswood. Approximately a 5–7-minute drive to the main Whistler Village and a 3-minute drive to Whistler’s Creekside base.

This home offers walking access to the nearby ski trails to Lower Dave Murray and the 2010 Olympic downhill course to the Creekside gondola. Please note that this ski trail access is suitable for intermediate-level skiers and is not suited for beginners. To reach the ski-out trail, walk about 300 metres down to the exit of the Taluswood Complex and then walk 2-3 minutes up Nordic Drive to the sign for the ski-out trail. From the ski-out trail, ski down the intermediate Lower Dave Murray Downhill run to reach the Creekside Gondola. The ski trail home is located above At Nature's Door Complex alongside the Lower Dave Murray Downhill run on Whistler Mountain. Ski access typically begins in late December and ends in March.

A vehicle is necessary, as the public bus service does not go up to the Taluswood area.  

Taxi service is available. A year-round hot tub and pool are exclusive to this complex, which is located about a 10-minute walk below the unit. This quiet setting is perfect for guests who do not want to be right in the village hustle and bustle but appreciate the convenience of being close to all Whistler has to offer. 

  

AGE REQUIREMENTS 

Guests must be 30 years of age and must provide a photo ID upon check-in unless prior approval has been granted. Families and children are welcome; parents and or guardians must accompany children. Whistler Ideal Accommodations retains the right to refuse access to any property if this condition has not been met, with no refund provided. 

NO SUBLETTING

Absolutely no subletting of the property or individual rooms of the property for a period or the duration of your stay.

CHECK IN INFORMATION 

To ensure the safety of our guests and the property, all reservations go through a verification process. You will be asked to sign a rental agreement, provide a copy of your official government-issued ID, and provide a valid credit card for the security deposit of $1,500 CAD. The security deposit is a hold on your credit card 2 days prior to check-in. 

We cannot provide access to the unit until this process is completed. Upon booking, you will receive an email with the next steps.
