Located just five minutes away from downtown Meredith and beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, the Nutmeg Inn’s provenance dates back to 1763 as the *Eliphalet Rawlings Homestead. On our quiet, seven acre property, you will be transported back to a simpler time while surrounded by all the comforts of modern life. Enjoy a roaring fire in our Great Room, old movies from our extensive collection in our West Parlor, and a game of billiards on our antique pool table in our Billiard Room. From May through early-September, enjoy a swim in our heated, in-ground salt water pool. Served in either of three indoor dining areas, and in good weather, on our outdoor seating areas, we provide a hearty breakfast to start your morning. Coffee and tea are ready at 7AM, so you can enjoy your wake-up cup whenever you are ready. If you require decaf coffee for breakfast, please let us know the night before so that we can be prepared. Breakfast is served from 8AM-9:30AM. We serve a fruit starter, French toast or an egg dish like artichoke quiche, Kevin's sourdough bread and Karen's granola. Everything is homemade. Coffee, teas, sodas and regional microbrewed beers are available 24/7 in our guest beverage area. We will do our best to accommodate any special dietary needs (please let us know when you reserve your room). We allow children under eight years and only in certain rooms. Please check with the innkeepers should you require these accommodations.
