In the heart of the Smoky Mountains and with nearly a 360 degree mountain view, The Cozad Cover House is locally known as “The Pride of Andrews”. Built @1905, it is an imposing 2 1/2 story gable-roof frame home which effectively combines traditional & modern elements. The current owners have painstakingly renovated this exquisite property & brought it up to today’s standards. Although the owners have not done so, the property could be listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. There is a 5 BR main home with Innkeepers quarters and a 3 BR guest house, that can stay as two apartments or made into one huge guest house. A B&B for 12 of the last 20 years, with its convenient location on Main St, and with 4.43 acres, this magnificent property could easily be returned into a successful destination venue for weddings, a vacation or corporate retreat or much more! Centrally located to the Nantahala River gorge & five pristine mountain lakes, a sportsman’s paradise, this property is easy, in-easy out, & Andrews also boasts one of the area’s most accessible private airports. This is a rare opportunity. Photos: Mike Waller, Scotch & Waller Photography
