Weather permitting; breakfast is served on the patio where you can also enjoy the native gardens, birds, and pollinators. Relax in a Victorian slipper tub in the privacy of your own room. Browse through new hunting and fishing books as well as collectibles while relaxing in front of the fire in the Governor’s Suite. Enjoy the massage jets in the shower in Nanny’s Attic. The Maid’s Quarter’s offers total privacy for an extended stay in your own apartment with full kitchen, bath and laundry. Just bring your suitcase, everything else can be provided if you wish. Need more space? Share your accommodations with friends and family in the three-bedroom Guest House with full kitchen, living room and your own front porch. As an added convenience for our guests, take the CATA bus line to State College and Penn State campus sites from a step right outside our front door and leave the parking and driving to someone else. The nearby area: We are 3 blocks from the Bellefonte’s Historic Downtown district for unique shopping and restaurants. There is an outdoor playground for children one block away and another just a short walk in Talleyrand Park. There is a public pool only 1.5 miles away. We are 3 blocks from world class fly fishing and just ½ mile to kayak and canoe rentals. We are 4 blocks to the YMCA. (If you’re staying with us, you can get a free day-pass!)
