This Lancaster County Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of Amish Country; an idyllic, rural inn where you can reconnect with nature, discover history, and experience Pennsylvania Dutch culture, lulling you back to a slower, gentler time. Werner and Debbie built and opened Swiss Woods in 1986. With three small children in tow, the couple moved from Switzerland to the US to build Swiss Woods on a family plot of land at the Speedwell Forge Lake. Today Werner is known for his landscaping skills, and his love and extensive knowledge of Church History. If he were to have a hobby it would most likely be his bees.
