We hope to host you at Stargazer's Abbey soon!• THE SPACEStargazer's Abbey has three bedrooms ( 1 queen bed in each room) One and a half bathrooms, both newly remodeled and modern. The property is located a quick 5 minute drive to the downtown shops and restaurants and a short 10 minute drive to the National Park entrance. The layout works perfectly for a small group of friends, families or for couples who need to unplug and reset. The house sits on a 1/2 acre lot with sweeping views of the Joshua Tree valley and the southern mountains.• THE OUTDOORSA propane BBQ grill are provided for your use during your stay to help maximize the indoor/outdoor lifestyle.• OTHER THINGS TO NOTEProfessionally managed by Property Manager• RENTAL AGREEMENTThere will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation• DEPOSITWe do not charge a security deposit. We welcome you and your guests to come to the property without an added security deposit or any extra holds of funds. You will not have to worry about any additional charges for accidental damages!• ACCESSGuests will have access to the entire house. The only restricted area is the garage which is Currently being remodeled for future guest use.• AC and HEATThe house has central AC and heat to help keep you comfortable all year long.• FIREDue to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed.If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane firepit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine.• GUESTSYou are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.• IDENTITY VERIFICATIONYou will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text.
