Chef Amanda is a native of Seattle who grew up spending summers on the northern shores of Orcas Island at Beach Haven, and YMCA Camp Orkila. Obsessed with Orcas magic, cooking, hospitality and local island ingredients, Otters Pond Bed & Breakfast was an easy fit for her in April 2019 when she left her corporate career in culinary product development (formerly culinary director for Cargill/McDonalds, Hillshire Brands and Campbell Soup Company.) Chef Amanda is a graduate of Culinary Institute of A
