Fox Creek Inn is a quaint country inn that has been in existence for over fifty years under three different names--Fiftepine Lodge, Tulip Tree Inn and Fox Creek Inn but has been instrumental in Chittenden's history. The inn has six beautifully decorated guestrooms, each with its own bathroom. Most have fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs. Common areas such as the Fox Den and a Dining Room for up to 17 guests are perfect for family reunions, retreats, etc. The inn works cooperatively with Mountain Top Inn and Resort to house guests who may be attending a wedding there. The inn is central to activities such as hiking, kayaking, canoeing, skiing (cross-country and Alpine at Pico and Killington), snowmobiling on Vermont Area Snow Traveler (VAST) trails, visiting museums as well as experiencing Vermont culture. The inn provides dinners, full breakfasts and an optional picnic basket or bag lunch with a two-day stay. All included in the price of the room!
Leaving Connecticut, Rita retired as a speech/language pathologist after 34 1/2 years and Corey retired as a maintenance technician/handyman to become innkeepers at the Fox Creek Inn in Chittenden, Vermont.
