About The Property Manager
Robert Hall
Robert has been the innkeeper at the After Eight Bed and Breakfast since November 2005, and has enjoyed the slower and more casual pace, over his previous home in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC. Robert owned a business in Washington, DC for 30 years and was a native of Maryland until he moved to Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Robert especially loves the outdoors and cannot get over having open farmland right out his back door. He has also been a significant influence on his two sons encouraging them both in hiking, backpacking and cycling. He is already anticipating cycling the rolling hills in the nearby rural Amish farmland. Experimenting and adjusting recipes and baking special sweet treats for guests is just one way Robert enjoys surprising and pleasing guests. Robert hopes that you enjoy what guests describe as his quirky sense of humor and endless stories and his suggestions of things to do while staying in Lancaster Pennsylvania.
