When you get back from the beach, easily rinse off the sand in your outdoor shower. For the history lovers, be sure to stop by Whalehead Club in Historic Corolla for a tour of a 1920’s Art Nouveau-style building that originally served as a luxurious hunting club. Visitors can also climb to the top of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse for a full 360-degree view of the coast. Just down the road, you’ll find the Timbuck II Shopping Village with fun, local shops, and restaurants that border the Currituck Sound.
