Located in Central Ohio, just an hour’s drive from Columbus and two hours from Cleveland, the White Oak Inn Bed & Breakfast is in Ohio’s Amish country. We offer a relaxing getaway close to Mount Vernon, Gambier, Kenyon College, and historic Roscoe Village. The Kokosing Gap Trail and Mohican Valley Trail both start in nearby Danville. The area abounds with wineries, antique stores, cheese factories, furniture stores, quilt shops, and potteries. We are proud members of Select Registry and consistently voted as one of the top Bed and Breakfast country inns in the United States. Nestled on a quiet country road near Danville, Ohio, the B&B has earned a reputation for excellent service, food, and accommodations. The inn’s fourteen private acres offer guests the space to relax and enjoy nature. The White Oak Inn is a great location for romantic getaways, family reunions, elopement and vow renewals, murder mysteries, and much more. Our luxury log cabin cottages are perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, or simply a relaxing getaway for two.
Ian and Yvonne left corporate jobs in Canada in 1992 to become the innkeepers at the White Oak Inn. Yvonne's passion for cooking, and Ian's background in sales and PR and regarious nature made innkeeping a natural match. Ian has also been a professional drummer and continues to pursue his love of music by playing with local bands whenever he can, and at the inn's annual "Oakstock" weekend of fun, food and music. Yvonne joined with seven other innkeeper friends to form the Eight Broads in the Kitchen, who have published three cookbooks and teach cooking classes, give food demonstrations and offer consulting services on everything kitchen and food related. Even after more than 25 years in the innkeeping business we still love what we do.
