Our historic inn sits at the foot of Mount Mansfield and the notorious Smuggler’s Notch. We are located on Route 108, officially recognized as one of two scenic highways in Vermont. Originally built in 1790, our inn has been lovingly restored making it a truly unique place to be in a quintessential Vermont town.

Located in the downstairs dining room, enjoy a lovely dinner by our fireplace while you gaze upon the breathtaking grounds of the inn. Our food is casual elegance at its finest, prepared by world-class chefs at a price you can afford. What could be better!
Smugglers' Notch Inn - Living Room. After your meal, take a walk downstairs to our newly renovated Village Tavern. There you will find an assortment of drinks and entertainment. Of course, there is always a chance that one of our local bands may stop by for a set or two!
Pat and Lisa purchased the Smugglers Notch Inn in July of 2004.
We continue to strive to make sure that everyone of our guests gets the most out of our inn (whatever that may be for each guest).
We are focused on the overall guest experience to make sure they have an excellent meal in one of our three dining areas, get the most out of our beautiful area, whether that be sightseeing, being active, or just relaxing, and to ensure quality sleep in a comfortable bed with all the amenities travelers need.
