Foxfield Inn is a modern and elegant bed and breakfast in Charlottesville, VA. I provide my guests with a calm, rejuvenating environment so they can enjoy a relaxing change of pace. The Inn is located in the beautiful horse country just outside of Charlottesville. You can easily explore the Blue Ridge Parkway, University of Virginia, three presidents homes (Monticello, Montpelier and Highland) all within a short drive from my inn. Looking to go hiking? There are numerous trails in the county parks and the Blue Ridge Mountains, I will gladly assist you in picking out the perfect one for you. If you are into tasting some of great wines, beers, and liquors then the Charlottesville area is for you. There are more than 33 wineries in the area, multiple distilleries and too many breweries to count. The Inn has 5 beautifully appointed guest rooms, each with their own bathroom. Four of the rooms have fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs to help you relax and enjoy your stay. Join me for a delectable breakfast each morning. I look forward to seeing you, Brigitte
I am very excited to call myself the new – and very proud – owner of such a wonderful Bed & Breakfast as the Foxfield Inn.
I spent most of my professional life as a Human Resources expert in the German financial industry. What I enjoyed most about being an HR professional was having a direct impact on creating an environment that people enjoyed and inspired them to develop their potential to the fullest.
I also know, that in today’s demanding work environment it is quite important to have places where one can go to relax, enjoy good food, recharge the batteries and reconnect with the most important people in one’s life.
I am convinced that my dream and all those aforementioned aspects come perfectly together in running a Bed and Breakfast. And what better place could there be for such an endeavour than the Foxfield Inn in Charlottesville and Albemarle County with its historic sites, delectable wineries, great restaurants, Shenandoah National Park’s opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and last but not least the University of Virginia?
Let me treat you with a memorable and relaxing stay.
A warm welcome and hope to see you soon!
