Farrell House Lodge was built in 1941 by Herbert Farrell and his wife Helen Farrell, nee Cheek. The Farrells had come to Ohio from the south and brought with them the southern influenece that the lodge was constructed in. Helen’s grandfather was one of two brothers that founded the Maxwell House Coffee Company.
The Lodge offers a gracious and traditional lifestyle. It is a perfect spot for weekend getaways and romantic escapes as well as extended vacation stays. Farrell House Lodge offers ten comfortable guest rooms, including three cozy fireplace suites. A rustic cabin, fashioned from an early 1900s grainery barn, and a recently remodeled century farmhouse are also available on the grounds for family or group stays.
Farrell House lodge is centraly located in the heart of northwestern Ohio’s vacationland. Cedar Point, Kalahari Resort and ferry service to the Lake Erie Islands are all within 15 minutes of the lodge.
