If you are looking for a Historic stay that has fun amenities in a unique area for travel, look no further than Chanceford Hall. Nestled in Snow Hill Maryland, a town founded in 1686, the Historic Chanceford Hall was built in 1759. We enjoy telling the stories of some of the owners and events that have shaped the story of Chanceford Hall, from a Notable Commander of the Revolutionary War, documents being stored in the protection of the homes 18" thick walls during the War of 1812, to the story behind some initials carved into the homes antique glass windows, we think you will find this home charming and rich in story. Our grounds are slightly over one acre full of nature, trees, bamboo and outdoor games like Bocce, Horseshoes and Croquet. We have a lap pool with a small deck for lounging as well as covered and uncovered patio's. Take a stroll or grab a bike to go 2 blocks to the Pocomoke river at beautiful Byrd park, or 3 blocks to the shops and eateries of Downtown Snow Hill. This is truly a place to unwind and escape.
