Catamount Bed and Breakfast was built in 1796 by Vermont’s first governor, Thomas Chittenden. The 450-acre property has been in the McCullough family since 1873. Your hosts Jim and Lucy McCullough welcome you to their antique-filled home and hope you enjoy the peaceful retreat inside. Guests are welcome to use the 20 miles of trails located on the property. Catamount Outdoor Family Center is a not-for-profit offering mountain biking, and trail walking and running during the summer months, and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing during the winter months. While exploring Catamount’s trails, you will enjoy vistas of Mt. Mansfield and Camel’s Hump to the east and Lake Champlain framed by the Adirondack Mountains to the west.
