Enjoy an 1809 Civil War farmhouse and historic barn venue. The inn specializes in delicious breakfasts, history presentations, and ghost stories by our resident actor. Dog travelers are pampered with a dog park and trails.
Battlefield Bed & Breakfast blends beautiful, historic rooms with modern convenience and luxurious amenities.
We are set in a gorgeous Civil War-era farmhouse on Gettysburg’s South Cavalry Battlefield. There are walking trails, gardens, rescue horses, friendly outdoor cats, a pond and some beautiful witness trees on the property.
We have ground-floor rooms for those who don’t want stairs. We have spacious common rooms. We have suites with two bedrooms. And we have breakfasts to remember!
Our inn is located on a peaceful, 30-acre nature preserve bordering the Gettysburg National Military Park. The inn is a 7-minute drive from downtown Gettysburg.
We are a family-run inn. Our family team includes Florence and Debbie March and our daughter Connie Tarbox, her husband Lance Windish, and children Parker and Alice. Son Winston Tarbox and Rissa are around from time to time. Connie and Lance also own an entertainment company so you might meet Lance doing our ghost stories or murder mysteries. And you might meet our grandchildren who are innkeepers in training. Connie specializes in running our events. Talk to Connie if you would like to have a wedding or party or if you are bringing a group for a retreat. Debbie's passion is her two dogs, Vince and Sassy. You may meet them if she brings them to the inn for a run. Debbie also cares for our rescue horse Burrberry and our rescue pony Puddin'. Florence specializes in running the facilities. You may often see her in the garden or busy checking to make sure that your room is just right. Florence is probably singing in a choir if she isn't at the inn. Connie is a vivacious host and also does our marketing. She is juggling the inn, her family, her theater costume business, and directing the high school play.
