Snuggled behind a Princeton Gold Norway Maple and Pat’s flower garden (or the festive seasonal inflatables), the 9-room inn (6 king beds, 3 queen beds) is downtown on the Central Campus of the University of Michigan kitty corner from the Power Center for the Performing Arts, 1/2 mile from vibrant Main Street, Michigan Union, Michigan Medical Center, City Hall, Michigan Theater, The Ark, and Kerrytown’s Zingerman’s Deli.
There are 47 dinner-class restaurants, the 144-stall covered, permanent Farmers Market, and 120 other places to eat within one mile. Bon appetit!
A full hearty breakfast with fresh chopped fruit, fruit and plain yogurts, tasty Zingerman’s and other local breads, crunchy Great Harvest granola, Trader Joes cereals, fresh squeezed orange juice, just-baked hot entree or eggs (any style), is offered in the atrium dining area and on the front deck overlooking a University park each morning. Tea, coffee, pop, bottled water, biscotti, nasty snacks, and fresh whole fruit are available 24/7.
Each guest room has a private en suite bathroom (shower or tub/shower, with grab-bars) , desk or table, free on-site covered parking, DVD/Smart-TV, and hi-speed Wi-Fi internet. Some rooms have two beds, kitchens, refrigerators, and/or microwaves. Extra beds and folding tables are available.
We are steps from University and City bus stops, quick food (Panera, Starbucks, Jimmy Johns, Angelo’s), Alumni Association, Michigan League, Rackham Building, Hill Auditorium, North Quad (School of Information) and the Michigan Theater. Scooters, ZipCar, Maven, Pedicabs, Uber, and Lyft are plentiful.
