All of the sites of the town including colleges restaurants, museums & shops are walkable. John is a Lexington native offering experienced advice on all things local including history. His guided Flyfishing for trout trips were featured on the Discovery Channel, Southern Living magazine and numerous other magazines and web articles. John and Ellen Roberts have been the innkeeper-owners at Llewellyn Lodge for over 34 years. The Lodge was the first licensed B&B in Lexington in 1985. 2015 St Andrews John and EllenA very high percentage of guests to the Lodge are repeat visitors, most come back to experience - comfort, Lexington's small town charm, the helpful ,experienced advice from the innkeepers, the most convenient location, the friendly relaxed atmosphere and the excellent breakfasts which are custom made for them to name a few. Many guests have logged in from 100-300 or more room nights at the Lodge over its long history. Hosting guests to both Washington & Lee University Virginia Military Institute and Southern Virginia University has been an enjoyable part of this history as well.
