With 5 comfy king beds in 4 bedrooms, this home boasts ample space for your whole family or crew of friends. The kitchen is amply supplied with everything you need to cook gourmet meals for your whole group. When you need to get away, retreat to the magnificent master suite with a private balcony and spa-like master bath. Turn on the heated floor and enjoy the double shower, or take a lavender epsom salt bath in the standalone tub and enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains and city skyline. You'll never regret it. There's plenty to enjoy outdoors too! The property has 4 decks and a patio from which you can enjoy incredible vistas of the city, mountains and rock formations. Relax in the hot tub year-round, and cool off in the pool May-September. Hiking trails abound, with mountains out your door and the Embudito Trailhead 5 minutes away. Grab a book and curl up in the hammock when you need a little time to yourself. Cozy up by the gas fire pit at night and tell stories with your group. There's no way you'll ever be bored here! Accessibility notes: This home does have two main floor bedrooms. However, the kitchen and dining room are upstairs, as is the master suite. The game room, great room and fourth bedroom are all accessed by a small handful of stairs. The home has a unique layout, and the ability to climb stairs is required to enjoy the whole house. Also, the 5th king bed is in the loft, accessed by a ladder. Should you want to sleep 10 people in this home, two of them need to be able to climb a ladder and hoist themselves into the loft, which shares the room with another king bed below. This property sleeps up to 8 and is loaded with amenities and creative highlights. While we do allow pets, we have a weight limit of 50 pounds and they MUST be house-broken and trained. The quarter-acre fenced lot makes an awesome space for the whole family to enjoy outdoor fun! What a rare west-side gem of a property! This place is beaming with charisma, color and character. Professionally designed and decorated, this home was set up to be a warm and welcoming space for families and small groups traveling to the area to enjoy our beautiful city. You'll have full use of the house, laundry and backyard with the amazing hot tub. On-street parking or private parking spaces right on the east corner of the lot off the alley are available! You will have convenient access just one minute from the main interstate (I-25) and will be within 5 minutes to downtown, local breweries and other great amenities. If you're looking to go to Garden of the Gods then you're in for a treat with a quick 10 minute drive! With another short drive you can find the Lincoln Center, a historic school building converted into a bustling attraction for libations and craft eateries. We recommend Building Three Coffee and Nightingale Bakery! This incredible gem is right off I-25 and close to shopping, groceries and more! Also, note that there is the Santa Fe Trail System which is a great biking and pedestrian trail system for commuters. If you have bikes you can easily get downtown on this trail system. Please Note: The truck and camper parked on the west side of the property are occupied by our groundskeeper Robert who is very kind and keeps to himself. Also of note, you will see a Service Fee for $60 on your reservation. This is a damage waiver fee automatically applied to your reservation to protect you in the event any covered damage occurs during your stay. This is a quiet residential neighborhood nestled up against the mountains. Beautiful city and mountain views! There are hiking trails galore and close proximity to mountain bike trails. Conquer Blodgett Peak from right out the front door, or explore nearby Garden of the Gods or Ute Valley Park. 10 min to Air Force Academy entrance. Free garage and street parking. No public transportation nearby. Bring a car or bike to get around. Rockrimmon, Woodmen Valley Road, and Centennial Blvd are the main corridors into this area. 7 minutes to I-25. You can be anywhere you want in Colorado Springs in 30 minutes or less. Go to Garden of the Gods early before the crowds get there (it's only 7 minutes away). Head down the street to Ute Valley Park and do a 7 mile mountain bike loop, go bouldering in the rocks, take some stellar Pikes Peak photos and your trip back to the house is only a mile or two. In a throwback to how home sharing was designed to be, we are opening up our personal home while we are away. This snug home is situated in an established neighborhood minutes away from the historic Old Colorado City. A western town in the fullest, you'll miss out if you don’t plan to walk Colorado Ave at least a few times during your stay. Nestled near Garden of the Gods and Red Rocks Open Space, this charming home has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom (with an additional queen bed pull-out in the living room), the perfect home base for exploring all Colorado has to offer! This is a brand new renovation from floor to ceiling with new appliances. The bedroom is a perfect size with ample closet space and baseboard heating throughout. Make sure to hike or cycle the nearby trails (there's tons of options!), grab groceries, enjoy restaurants, get your caffeine fix at Starbucks on your way to your next adventure, and stop by the brewpub - all located within a few minutes drive. We recommend experiencing the new Pikes Peak Summit House and Cog Railway, Olympic Museum, and Air Force Academy during your visit. This trip will be one to remember! For nights at home after your adventures, the TV is equipped with Hulu, Spotify, Peacock Pro, Netflix, Disney+, so you'll never be short of entertainment options. Although we do not offer a washer and dryer in the unit, we do partner with a local laundry service where you can leave the laundry outside the unit and they will return it the next day washed, folded, and right to your door! You will be able to coordinate with them directly for pickup times after you check-in here at the cottage. Please let us know if you're interested in this service prior to check-in! Finally, due to the fact that this is a long-term rental only, we will be providing a lease agreement which must be signed no later than three days prior to check-in. We look forward to hosting you! This gem is a stone's throw from pavement, 20 minutes to Albuquerque, Entranosa water system oasis. The yurt itself features gleaming pine floors, abundant natural light, mini-split HVAC, deluxe insulation package and perhaps overkill on the foundation - hurricane proof! From the moment you walk in the front door, you are greeted with a serene beauty that will capture your heart. This yurt has everything you need for a short or extended stay, including a dedicated workspace! Unwind in your forest palace and enjoy climate control inside regardless of the weather outside! Situated in the middle of Tijeras farm country, our yurt is ready for your complete relaxation. Make sure to grab groceries on the way to the property so that you can load them up in the full-sized fridge and prepare your meals in the kitchen. The dining table has bench-height stools with seating for five. Speaking of five, that's how many can comfortably sleep here! We have a king bed, a double bunk bed with a twin bed up top - all with comfortable sheets/duvets and ready for your total resting needs. The property has a pellet stove (which we provide instructions for) and a mini-split HVAC unit to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The front door is a code-style lock and will allow you access throughout your stay. You'll see that Airbnb Added a "community fee" into your booking. This is a damage waiver fee that you pay instead of a $1000 deposit for the unit. This will protect you from being responsible for damages during your stay up to the covered amount. If you have questions, please let us know and we will be happy to answer them. This home allows for a fully remote-style check-in with a door code provided prior to your check-in. We have a concierge on staff that will be available to you throughout your stay to make dining suggestions and things to do in the area. This sleepy farm town is perfect for those who what to "get away from it all" without going completely remote. The neighbors have a horse barn, chickens, and even the occasional goat. The smell when you get out of your car is incredible; you truly get to embrace the "woodsy" feel of the area. You will definitely need a car to get out here :) We suggest 4 wheel drive in the winter as snow may block you in occasionally with a lesser-equipped vehicle. Snow plows will occasionally plow the country road the yurt is located on, however it's best to be prepared. In the summer, a two wheel drive vehicle will be perfect to suit your needs. Don't forget to bring your mountain bikes during the summer as well! Some of the best metro-albuquerque trails are just a few minutes drive away from the house. This property is well-suited to meet your "not fully off the grid" needs with a remote-speed internet connection (about 12Mbps), a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with hot shower and laundry, and even a smart TV where you can cast your favorite show to from your phone (although, we do suggest downloading the show ahead of time so you don't get interrupted by buffering).
