Make sure to hike or cycle the nearby trails (there's tons of options!), grab groceries, enjoy restaurants, get your caffeine fix at Starbucks on your way to your next adventure, and stop by the brewpub - all located within a few minutes drive. We recommend experiencing the new Pikes Peak Summit House and Cog Railway, Olympic Museum, and Air Force Academy during your visit. This trip will be one to remember! For nights at home after your adventures, the TV is equipped with Hulu, Spotify, Peacock Pro, Netflix, Disney+, so you'll never be short of entertainment options. Although we do not offer a washer and dryer in the unit, we do partner with a local laundry service where you can leave the laundry outside the unit and they will return it the next day washed, folded, and right to your door! The smell when you get out of your car is incredible; you truly get to embrace the "woodsy" feel of the area. You will definitely need a car to get out here :) We suggest 4 wheel drive in the winter as snow may block you in occasionally with a lesser-equipped vehicle. Snow plows will occasionally plow the country road the yurt is located on, however it's best to be prepared. In the summer, a two wheel drive vehicle will be perfect to suit your needs. Don't forget to bring your mountain bikes during the summer as well! Some of the best metro-albuquerque trails are just a few minutes drive away from the house.
