This is a lovely BB. Ann, one of the innkeepers, was an exceptionally helpful and friendly lady with lots of information on the area and its attractions. The breakfast was delicious. She even came to pick us up from the train station and gave us a little tour of the town. We stayed in the Duchess. The room was beautiful, may be a bit smaller than I had thought, but with ample room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. We're not into BnB's but after this experience I know why they are so popular. I recommend this place highly to couples (young, old, etc), and to singles too. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was excellent. Our room (Majestic Chamber) was large enough that we were given the option to have breakfast delivered to our room in a picnic basket. A place was set for us on a side table in our room with china and silverware and we ate in the privacy of our own room. We ordered a rose petal bath prepared in our 2-person bath tub while we were at dinner so it was ready for us when we returned afterward. Lots of little touches (magazines/books in the room, computer printout of directions to our restaurant choice for dinner, etc.) added to the atmosphere. We highly recommend the King's Cottage.
